Ordered a waffle.Unfortunately it's just their pancake batter that they pour into a waffle iron. So the waffle is soft, quite mealy, hard to choke down, and tastes just like a pancake.I know it wasn't all in my head because somebody at another table nearby got a stack of pancakes and the dough looked exactly like my waffle.Waffle batter is completely different than pancake batter and gives a different texture and taste. If I had wanted pancakes, I would have ordered them.

Food and service are excellent. They even have a classic jukebox which had Elvis playing when we walked in. Love a good dinner and this was a great one

Looking for a good diner for breakfast. This may be my new favorite, but I wish they opened at 6am. I got a signature dish and it was above average. The waitress was good and kept me loaded.

My breakfast on Sunday morning was overcooked...simple gyro omelet came out brown on the outside and dry on the inside with no flavor, potatoes were mushy but edible. While I could get past the subpar food, combining that with the poor service we received sealed the fact that I wouldn't eat here again if it was free. Our heavy set waitress dropped off food and didnt come back once to see if we needed anything or any more water or coffee. Service was the worst I've had anywhere in Lancaster.

My daughter and I went there for brunch. The server was extremely friendly, helpful, and was extremely polite to. They do have barriers between each booth, they are chalkboards with quotes and interesting questions on each of them. Food was great, delicious ? and huge quantity, so much so we both ended up with leftovers.

Update: we came again for our second time and once again enjoyed our visit. My first time dining here and the service was phenomenal from the very handsome, helpful, and friendly host, to our server, to the owner stopping by our table and interacting with us and the kids. We will definitely be back!

Quality food and friendly accommodating staff at more than affordable diner prices your wallet will appreciate! We came for a weekend wedding and on Sunday everything was closed. This place saved the day! We even went back again the next morning with friends. Sausage biscuits and gravy, French toast, meatlovers omelet, breakfast quesadilla--all were yummy!

We were hungry and stopped at the first dinner we saw. People were very nice they seem to have a strong local following food was cheap and not bad, Hard to say much since we both just had small sandwiches. I would give it another try.

I'm a life-long resident on Lancaster County but had never been to Alice's Diner until today. I was very impressed with the attentiveness, speed, and quality of service. I was there for breakfast and the food was delicious and affordable.

The food was average quality. The staff and management were friendly. The glass particians between the booths were very dirty. They don't support the ?? Military. The food was not very hot when it was brought out, but we didn't complain. It's an entire overview which makes for an enjoyable dining experience. They need much improvement. Also, many staff members were not wearing masks and some who were, had there noses uncovered, which is appalling and dangerous to their valued customers. Have a Blessed day....
