Great hotel and an amazing staff! Very helpful, was here for 4 days for a wedding. Almost every staff member went above and beyond especially Michael and I believe her name was Courtney! The only negative was a bartender who clearly isn't the right fit to be a bartender. He is rude, condescending and clearly doesn't care to help or serve. He is the only reason I'm not giving the hotel 5 stars.
I would gave this place even a lower rating. We hosted our big Indian wedding at this venue and it has been a terrible experience. All our other vendors were amazing but this place was the worst. From the management to the front desk associate treated us in a disrespect and racist manner. Biggest turnover with employees as well. In the spam of 5 months, everyone was different including the management. AC was not working for 2 days which they couldn't seem to fix in all sleeping rooms. The staff is not trained in hospitality service with their rude behavior. If you are planning your big wedding then please think ten times before going with the management here. They couldn't refill even the basic necessity like water for our event. There has been no change in action with complaints to the Sheraton from the management.
I work up the street twice a week but live about an hour and a half away. So on occasions, I have to be there more frequently and I don’t want to drive back and forth!! Every time I’ve checked in, Katie from the front desk recognizes me and asks how I’m doing!! Makes me feel great!!Excellent staff. Comfortable rooms. Enjoyable stays each and every time!!
I’ll admit that I was a little nervous after reading some reviews prior to our stay but I can now confirm that we were treated well and our room was spacious, comfortable and spotless. We requested a higher floor room which was accommodated immediately and all the essentials were available there. We were only there for one night so we did not need the amenities but my picky requirements for a brief hotel stay were met. I will return if I’m ever in the area again.
There was no housekeeping during a 4-day stay. Staff had to be reminded twice to bring basic sanitary products to the room. Desk clerks were totally unpolite. Drinks at bar were far too expensive and the barkeeper was a little bit spooky. Limited breakfast choices.
Perfect hotel, the king suite was great for parents with children. Plenty of space. Pool was a bit warmer than I would prefer but after a soak in the hot tub it was refreshing. The soundproofing was great, there was a prom going on in the ballroom but you couldn't tell from the room one floor below.
Really nice hotel, the room was nice and fairly spacious, bathroom was very big. However the water was ice cold, hot water took a very long time to kick in. The heat was also not working well we came in exhausted from being on the road the room was freezing when we walked in and the thermostat was on 72. I kicked it up a few degrees, took a shower, still the vent blowing ice cold air, kicked it up a few more degrees and passed out. Woke up a couple hours later and it was still freezing. I literally had to kick this thing up to 84 degrees to actually feel some heat coming out. Then it was like a sauna. It definitely put a damper on my stay. I wouldn't expect that from a new hotel especially one of this caliber and $200 a night. That's something you would expect in a roadside dump.
The room was what I expected and I have no complaints about it. The billing on the other hand has been a tremendous headache.I booked my stay with Amextravel, and paid in full before arrival. Then I was charged again by the Sheraton at checkout.I have all my receipts and it’s obvious the second charge was a wholesale room charge, but it’s been very difficult to get a refund. I’ve called the Sheraton without luck so now I’ve been going through a credit card dispute. At this point my one night stay has transformed into endless calls and and emails.I should have stayed at the four seasons or just slept in my car.
The room is very spacious and very clean. The food at the bar was top notch! Will definitely be back!
Another disappointment in the Philly suburbs. Barely three star hotel that felt like a one. Terrible and unfriendly from desk service. No club lounge, no room service or food options for late arriving business travelers. No concierge lounge, no maid service, gym under construction and no mention of any of these limitations or offer for extra points to a loyal platinum client.
