We had a really pleasant experience at this restaurant! Both pasta dishes and the cannoli that we ordered were delicious. The Alfredo sauce in particular was very creamy, cheesy, and rich. We definitely paid less than we would have at a chain and had a memorably delicious meal.
We got a white pizza from there last night. It was fantastic!It had so much cheese and garlic flavor. I don't know how they don't have a higher rating.It was also ready way early even on a friday night. I'll def be goig back there soon
Pizza steak and fries, nothing fancy. I was there during the lull between lunch and dinner, so fairly quiet. Staff was friendly and attentive. I'll probably go again next time I'm in the area.
DEFINITELY in the top 5 favorites for our family. We've tried many different pizza options here. Their white pizzas are cheesy, garlicky deliciousness! Pepperoni & sauce have a nice zing! My one complaint would be they no longer offer fresh basil. Service has always been prompt & friendly. Reasonable prices. Sal's was one of the places that helped us survive pandemic!
First time here: The food was pretty good, I really enjoyed the Meatlovers Calzone. We also got the Penne Alfredo which had great potential the flavors were there but the pasta was over cooked and the sauce thick so it made it a real work out on the mouth to eat it. The Caesar Salad tasted fresh and the dressing was great. The Italian sampler was okay, tasted as expected, not sure why it was the "Italian Sampler" had wings, fries, onion rings, mozarella sticks, and chicken strips.That being said Atmosphere was great, very clean and service was good. I would reccomend this place for casual dining just maybe stay away from the pasta. Can't wait to try a pizza next time.
We had one of the best pizzas ever and homemade cannolis that were out of this world. This is a phenomenal family owned restaurant. One of our favorites!
Ordered our food 6:18 estimated delivery time was about 60 minutes or food was then shown on its way and to be delivered by 7:24 at 8pm food was still not delivered called at 8:02 was told our order slip was lost or got mixed up and was never made or delivered. Was told wow order will be there in about 20 minutes. Called back at 8:40 and still did not leave the restaurant. Was told they will take my name and number and give a discount next time at this point order should be free. I’m not planning on ordering from here again I understand busy times but this would be the second time our order has gotten here really late. They did try to make it a little better by giving us an extra pizza but it had onions on it and we don’t eat onions on our pizza but I appreciate that effort.
I can’t say enough about the wonderful food and family atmosphere at Sal’s. Every customer is greeted with a smile and just like they are a member of the family. I held a small party there once for friends and Sal and his crew went all out. I cannot recommend them any more highly.
Absolutely disgusting, I’m 100% Italian and I know homemade food this is obviously not homemade are the good reviews fake?! Because this was awful I came from New York on business and wanted to try it not only did I get sick after eating this, I waited over and hour for some nasty meatballs and a soggy salad And everything was dirty, I understand it’s hard times but do better because there’s no excuse for poor service, dirty cutlery and not wearing a mask during a pandemic.. stay away if you cherish your health and money.
Ate here the other day and it was horrible ! They lied and said everything was homemade when in fact everything is frozen . I got their “homemade meatballs” that their mother made but they were frozen !!!! Way too over priced for food that isn’t even fresh !!! They need to stop lying to their customers saying everything is homemade and fresh when everything is frozen and canned !! Pizza is disgusting as well !! Won’t be coming back here again ! And they upped their prices… wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone ! Franzones is amazing (if you like sweet sauce) and little Sicily is delicious! And they don’t skimp you on the toppings like they do here !!! Don’t waste your time and money here you will be disappointed!!
