We last had Vetri Pizza when they were in the mall 5 years ago. Since then I believe Vetri has sold out, I mean sold off, his Pizza shops. We sat down to order a pizza at the new location in the KOP Town Center only to discover that everything had Garlic in it. Allow me to provide the recipe for Pizza Sauce from Marc Vetri's book "Mastering Pizza." Page 111; Tomatoes, Olive Oil, basil and salt and to quote Vetri himself "What more do you need"? Well, apparently the amateurs that took over Vetri need plenty of garlic. Italians would laugh at this and they should.

Ehhh. I judge a place on my expectations and price. For a place with $10+ Appetizers and personal pizzas that start at $18 I didn’t have a great experience. My meatballs were flavorful but straight up cold. My pizza was also good but very poorly cut if you could call it cut at all. Service was friendly enough but messy. It wasn’t busy or anything, just felt very mediocre for the price and for how good it could have been.

Went to this place on a whim because everywhere else was an hour wait. All I can say is it paid off. This place is going to be really popular. The staff were so nice and friendly. The pizza was delicious, crunchy and soft at the same time. We got a pepperoni and Margherita pie. They made the Marg a large on accident and gave it to us at the small pie price #leftovers! The hidden gem on this menu is the meatballs. They were fantastic.

We haven't made it out to one of the Philly locations so this was our first experience with Vetri. So so good. The pizza is incredible. Simple but amazing flavor and texture. I especially liked the Spinach. We came in about 30 minutes before closing and the staff were very kind and attentive. This location is more easily accessible for us and we'll definitely be making regular visits.

I took my daughter to lunch today and decided to try out Pizzaria Vetri in K of P since most reviews I read were positive. I am so glad I did - I can heartily recommend this place! the pizza was fresh and delicious, generous amounts of basil on the Margarita pizza, and swift and friendly service to boot! Our server, Liliana, seemed to anticipate every need! You won't regret going there, as I plan to soon return.

Service was lacking! Had three separate employees ask us if we needed water, still waiting for it. Pizza was soggy and ZERO taste. I really wanted to like this place, so t think I will be back

I went on opening day at KOP Town Center and thought both the food and service were excellent. The pizza style was more on the order of pizza I’ve had in Rome, Italy. All of the ingredients were top notch. Philly is a tough town for pizza or any Italian food for that matter because opinions run high. I’ve never had a bad meal from any Vetri restaurant. The yellow beet salad was absolutely perfect. All of the food and flavor profiles went well together. I also found the entire service staff to be outstanding. The atmosphere was tastefully done and not overstated, very comfortable.

Is there an option to give zero stars! We tried the new location at the KOP town center this past weekend and everything right from the food to the service and drinks was pathetic. The margarita had sooo much tomato sauce almost tasted like a tomato pie, the mozzarella left uncooked to the point it kept slipping off the slice. They do not have a kids menu or options like cheese pizza for kids. The staff are still in training and have no idea what good service looks like. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs!!

Pizzeria Vetri never disappoints! So happy to see this opened in KOP! Had dinner tonight and Kalvin waited on us- he was so friendly. Service was quick, food was delicious, place was clean!

Excellent atmosphere and very attentive service. The food was crisp and delightful. Will definitely recommend this restaurant to friends. Affordable prices and generous portions. Great job.
