Second trip. First time the food was a bit off, and they actually responded and made up for it. I really appreciate that.This time back, food was on point. Meat was excellent, I had never tried their baked beans and they were just outstanding (be getting them next time) and while they were busy, our food was ready fast. They did mess up my order, but they fixed it.Wanted to come back on and pop a better review back up and after visiting a few more times, maybe pop up a fifth star.Thanks.
Oh. My. GOODNESS! This place is INSANELY GOOD. I’m visiting town and someone gave me a hot tip to come here. The baby back ribs are super moist and flavorful and the meat falls right off the bone. I got two sides – coleslaw (fresh, crisp, not too sweet) and mac & cheese (OMG YUM). Both excellent! And then a little nugget of cornbread which is really good but I’m saving room for the ? peach cobbler! ?Update: I had to come back again before leaving town! This time pulled pork was the meat. Same sides. :) DELICIOUS!
My new favorite Barbeque! Potatoe Salad a little bit salty, but everything overall is well done. I liked the open Cooler bin filled with ice and bottled soda drinks as I approached the counter!
As one of the most consistent chains, this Mission BBQ location has perfected not just their BBQ but also their customer service. As a veteran I often receive email promotions, today's visit was prompted by a free sandwich. I got the Moist brisket sandwich; personally I use their Georgia mustard, add Pickles and some of their signature "Cold" slaw to make it the perfect bite. I also picked up a slice of corn bread (some of the best I've ever had) and enjoyed it with every last drop of fresh squeezed lemonade and sweet tea! They have outdoor and indoor seating, and even though the outdoor seating is right by the parking lot it was quite and peaceful. I'll definitely be back, with or without a free sandwich coupon ?.
There are so many BBQ places around and I thought I’d been to this one - but I hadn’t. There’s plenty of parking available and the ordering process is very efficient. I had a pulled pork sandwich and it was perfect. There are lots of varieties of BBQ sauce around - but I had my sandwich plain. I guess I wasn’t feeling too adventuresome. There’s always next time. While I was very happy with my sandwich, a smarter selection would have been a multiple meat platter - maybe some sides. I’ll bet the other things on the menu are good. As for the restaurant and staff - clean, friendly and just what it needs to be… The prices and portions are very reasonable. Overall, a good choice for a meal.
Fabulous food and great atmosphere! We had the 3 meat platter with sausage, brisket and shredded pork! 3 sides-French fries, slaw and Mac and cheese. Everything was great! Especially loved the shredded pork and all the options for sauce.
The chicken was tender and flavorful. It didn't even need one of the amazing sauces. The salad was large. The ice tea was excellent. Our order was ready before we even finished paying, which we couldn't believe. The manager was very friendly.
Our family thoroughly enjoyed Mission BBQ in King of Prussia, PA. Between all of our family we enjoyed the brisket, chicken, pulled pork, ribs, baked beans, fries, corn bread, bottled drinks, fountain lemonade... and the various sauces... and we were happy. Food was prepared quickly, it is a 'counter service type of place but they offer to help bring a large order to you table for you and staff walks around to check on you and get you additional things if needed. It is a loud/lively environment good for families with kids. We spent about $80 for a family of 5. Would recommend/repeat.
My company ordered lunch take out for 20 people today. Many of us had never eaten from here but heard good things. First of all, the way way the food was packaged was impressive. The quality of the food was amazing. And the taste of everything was delicious. I can’t wait to go back on my own time. I also want to compliment all of workers that I encountered. I recall the names Jessica and John, but there were others who greeted me and helped me to my car. The staff here may quite possibly be the friendliest group of people working in food service.
