Googled it. Thought it was in King of Prussia. I had already reviewed the menu, so I knew what I wanted. We were seated right away, offered drinks to start while we looked over the menu on the table. Ordered, viewed the making of our sushi rolls. Miso soup and small salad came out first, not long after our dinner was served. Everything was fresh and delicious. Service was quick and pleasant. We were the only patrons dining in. Noticed a few dashers and pick ups for take out orders. Nice first experience.
Do not get take-out from this place. They sent me on my way with freshly cooked food in the same container as raw fish. My sushi was visibly discolored and warm to the touch. I called to resolve the issue and they asked for me to come back to get fresh food. When told I could not go back out they told me they were "too busy to deal with [me]."TL;DR Its nice inside. But don't even think about take out. And don't think for a second they care about your health.
Was in the area, and based on the reviews decided to give their hibachi chicken a try. Much to my disappointment, the chicken was bland and dry..almost felt as though it was cooked and then had some Chicken broth/sauce added right before packing (we did pick up). It lacked teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, all the “hibachi” flavor. The rice was more on the sticky side than fried rice. The clear soup had a strong seasoning flavor, not clear at all, had tiny mushrooms but was missing onions…First and last time.
Went here for a date. It was my first time going. The menu seemed decently priced for what was being offered. The food was good but the problem came when the bill did. We knew the prices the menu showed didn't reflect what was on the bill. There was a dollar to 3 difference for items ordered. There was no signage anywhere saying about price change. When we asked the server about it he became defensive about us asking. The menu tucked in with the bill we showed him the prices. He said it was an old menu. I pointed out the menu given to us ordering had the same pricing with nothing saying price increase. This made the server even more annoyed and said covid price increase up a dollar and walked off. This isn't acceptable at all. Place should be honest with its customers. Someone not paying attention is going to be paying more than expected.
I came here for dinner on a Friday night with my nine-year-old daughter. I ordered the sashimi dinner and it was fresh, well portioned, and delicious. My daughter got California rolls and the teriyaki chicken. She ate every bite. We finished off the meal with a pineapple sorbet and it was scrumptious. The service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.
At no point did I realize that to this restaurant “hand rolled” meant bouquet of sushi. This in the most disgusting way to eat sushi I’ve ever seen. Waste of money. The rest of the sushi is sushi. Nothing special.
I hope I never have to go to this place again. I'm a doordasher. Walked in to pick up food. Dirty look. I can read their expression, I hope this black ... doesn't mess up this order by not delivering food in time. I made sure they got their food earlier than what they expected and said to myself, I will never pick food up from this place again.
Food in general here is amazing but don't come unless is at least 2 hr before their schedule to close or they won't take you
Got philadelphia sushi for first time ,it was delicious and fresh definitely come back
I ate here because I saw reviews on TripAdvisor. I tried the Beef Negimaki for the first time, and enjoyed it. The Spring Salad and Special Tuna Sashimi Roll were good choices as well. I will come back the next time I am in the mood for Japanese food.
