I had looked at this restaurant based on other reviews and location to the hotel I was staying in for business. I was looking forward to my dinner. To say the least I was very underwhelmed. I sat at the bar and got out my work and sat there two or three minutes while the staff around me talked and played with one of the employee kids. I had to flag someone down just to ask who my waiter or waitress or bartender was. I placed my order and the Lady repeated it and the service was prompt. I’ll give them that. Unfortunately they brought My appetizer and my entrée at the same time. Not great thinking on the kitchen. As I sat there I realized I did not have any silverware to eat my meal. I had to flag down one of the waitresses to get silverware so I could enjoy my meal. The salad with chicken I picked could’ve been the same thing I would’ve picked up at McDonald’s except better dressing which I had to ask for again the second time. The chicken tasted like chicken McNuggets you would get at McDonald’s. The only positive I would say from my experience was the avocado bomb. It was pretty tasty and the Manhattan wasn’t bad. I was disappointed because I narrow down the two places I wanted to eat for my first visit to Pennsylvania. Unfortunately this is not a place I would go back to you I need again on my next visit. I also had to get an ask for an itemized receipt which was not provided as well

Very nice experience. Pleasant staff, nice surroundings, varied menu. Salads, sushi, sammies & burgers, steaks & seafood. Hubby had/loved the Cypress Salad and the Double Burger, both highly recommended. I had the Avocado Bomb--FABulous!!--and the Fried Shrimp, which was delicious but the portion was ridiculously huge. No room for dessert after all that, but we can certainly give this restaurant a thumbs up.

Atmosphere is great. Food is outstanding. I got a new York strip and she got a sirloin . Both were delicious, big portions, buttery all the way thru!! Take ur antacids!! Lol. Chocolate cake was perfect. Rich and delich. Prices are good for what we got. Nice 1st date material! As well as meetings, families. Anniversaries. Parking works out because the hotel is right next door and their overfil can be used also!! Kids are welcome. wheelchair access. Diet restrictions welcome and vegetarian. Try it out!! 9 out of 10 for me.

Met friends for dinner and got there early so I had a drink at the bar. Bartenders were really nice. I ordered for my.dinner the emerald coast fried shrimp. I was expecting 4 -6 nice sized shrimp freshly battered or breaded. What I got were medium sized shrimp that tasted like they were previously frozen.

On a lovely Spring day in May, my wife and I met up with a friend for lunch at the J. Alexander’s King of Prussia location. We were warmly welcomed by the waitress and seated immediately. The restaurant is spacious and there was lots of room between the tables and booths. Our server, Bridget was very professional and cordial and took our beverage orders right away. She was truly outstanding throughout our lunch. She provided great suggestions and was very accommodating. We started with an order of fried calamari that was delicious and accompanied by a tasty marinara dipping sauce. I then had a side garden salad that was huge! It could have been a meal in itself. Please note that the serving sizes are very generous—you will not leave hungry! For my entrée, I had the crab cake platter. This comes with two crab cakes, French fry sticks and coleslaw. The platter was very tasty and filling. The crab cakes did not have much filler and were full of crab meat and excellent crab flavor. I know I shouldn’t have, but I ordered the carrot cake dessert. It was so decadent and so delicious. I only ate half and gave the other half to my wife which she took home and ate the next day. It was warm and moist with a mouth watering cream cheese icing. We had a surprisingly delightful lunch at J. Alexander’s and I look forward to returning in the future to sample other items on their menu.

Wanted to share what an extraordinary time my wife and friends had at J. Alexander’s on Friday May 20. We were there to celebrate a monumental moment and this was a great place to go. Our Waiter Mike was very helpful with explaining the menu items He was fantastic. The other pleasurable moments was when General Manager Taylor Edmund made sure we didn’t leave without tasting the deserts. Wow! They were amazing, I’m still reeling from the warm carrot cake. Just a wonderful evening and we look forward to our next event here. Thanks for everything.

Dim ambiance and bassy progressive music set the tone for this great restaurant packed with friendly staff. Ty, Kyla. Loved the deviled egg app and the fire roasted artichoke was good. Our chicken tenders were fantastic! And I enjoyed the cheeseburger and not so creamy Cole slaw. The summer orzo and wild rice salad was excellent. Willing to share the recipe? We will definitely be back!

A friend suggested this place as he likes their steaks (which he got, and liked). I felt I wanted a burger, and ordered their steak burger with a Caesar salad. The salad was one of the best I've had, and the burger was very good. It came with shoestring fence fries, which were also good, but there were so many that I didn't finish them. The place was not very full, and the noise level was moderate, so we could hear each other talk at a normal volume. The service was fast, and the servers friendly. It's a little far from home to make a special trip often, but when in the area, I would return.

It was my first time at this restaurant, My son took me for my Birthday! And I loved it!! I will definitely go again! The food was very delicious!! Our waitress was awesome!!
