Made a reservation for 5pm so we got there 5 mins ahead of time. The lights were off and there was no-one at the front desk. They never opened the restaurant. We left around 5:30-45 to find somewhere else to eat.

The food and the service was very good. Everyone was very pleasant. I did not realize that the restaurant was inside a hotel.

Great food and the wait staff was pleasant, but it took awhile for the food to come

Service a little slow but we weren’t in a hurry so it was nice to have time to chat with our dinner partners

Mother’s Day

Not enough staff. Took 30 min to get a drink n another hour to get food.

Visited Hammer & Fire for the first time during restaurant week. What a pleasant experience. Let me first say, the entire staff is top notch. Beyond that, we really enjoyed the entire meal and cocktails. The Old Fashioned was made perfectly. The charcuterie board included a lovely selection of items. The pork chop was cooked to perfection. Thank you!

Easter buffet

I definitely do not recommend. Don’t waste your money. The appetizer, charcuterie board, was not edible. The cheese was rubber. It was gross. The salmon was ok. The dessert tasted and looked like to was straight from the refrigerator at a cafeteria. The mixed drinks were gross and the service was slow.

This may have been the worst dining experience I ever encountered. My friend and I decided on this place because I had never heard of it. Once I learned it was at this hotel, I regretted making the reservation. It took forever to get our appetizer. Let me back track. We ordered from the restaurant week menu and it took forever to get our appetizer. Appetizer arrived and not more than two minutes later our entrees arrived. Entrees were cold. The waitress was polite. We actually felt bad for her as she had no management support. She asked if we wanted our meals recooked. We asked for it to go because we had been in there for almost 2 1/2 hours! I opened my container the next day and the pork was now undercooked! I took pictures of it. I then called and wanted a refund. The manager asked why we didn’t ask for a manager. The only time we saw the manager was when she was comping the table next to us meals. (I won’t mention why.) I pretty much got the run around and was then told to call back the next day but the manager did take my phone number. I never heard back from them. Don’t waste your time or money at this place. I’m sorry that I even had to give them one star.
