Food and coffee is good but the service is terrible. The kids working here refuse to acknowledge you until they're finished screwing around. I'll probably be back for the coffee but the MGMT need to get the kids to care about service and hospitality, at least a little bit.All the servers and staff in the Founding Farmers portion of the store are great! First Bake is just not good in terms of service.
What coffee shop nowadays doesn’t have oat milk for lattes? Even Dunkin’ Donuts provides it milk now.
I've been here twice now. Once kind of by accident because we were going to eat dinner at Founding Farmers upstairs but hadn't realized how busy it would be and how essential it was to have a reservation. So, we sat downstairs at First Bake and ate there instead, and it was great. The second time, a friend and I met there on purpose for coffee, and we enjoyed the small but tasty selection of foods and beverages, from donuts and bagels and such to coffee, juice, soda. And ICE CREAM. I had the ice cream, and it was really good.
I visited this location for lunch in early October. The service was excellent. We were seated quickly our server was courteous and efficient. I ordered a vegetable and avocado sandwich with fries and a creamy mushroom soup. The food was from mediocre to bad. The fries were old, the bread for the soup was stale and the bread on the sandwich tasted like it was from the day before. Maybe I was just unlucky, it was my first time but likely my last.
Got half a dozen doughnuts for over $10 and they were just ok.
I think it was a new girl working when I got there but all in all I would go back when I'm not in a rush

I'm a big fan of the way they cold brew their coffee. It's really smooth and potent but not overbearing even when added with Nitrogen. Their breakfast burritos are a steal for a quality at the price and their donuts are on that level as well! I stop in on the first day I have off after being away from home on work and know exactly what to expect when going??
You walk in at 7 am, which is opening time, and they tell you they are late and it be 10-15 mins to make you a coffee. Never again.
Great food excellent atmosphere.
