Waited in drive thru for 40mins and reached the window at exactly 9:00pm. A female employee yelled to the cashier “shut off the lights, all done for the night”. The cashier told us “sorry, it’s closing time, we are also out of vanilla.” Bad business practice, it is one thing if we got there at 8:50, but we were sitting in line for 40 min, have never had a horrible meadows experience till tonight.
I have always been a fan of all of the meadows locations. During this visit to this specific location a car was broke down right at the drive through window so everyone was forced to enter inside which limited parking available at the time. The only thing I wish was different at this specific meadows is I wish they had a walk up window like the old one at the cloverleaf did and the other ones around the area still do.
Hours need updated, just drove all the way there for nothing....
Grew up on Meadows Custard. If you are looking for a small cone, don't get a small.Try a kids size.
Our server at the Boulevard Grill told us to go to The Meadows for dessert. She was right on the money. The Meadows has many stores and has been serving creamy frozen custard for over 60 years. We were promptly waited on by the friendly and helpful staff. We are from Baltimore, Maryland, and I have never had frozen custard. My husband enjoyed a medium cup of Cappuccino Chocolate Chunk and I had the Dirty Turtle in a cone, but they gave me a small cup to keep it all together. The servings were generous and the tastes delicious. We were sold on the custards!
Myself and my husband absolutely love the Meadows.....we go there quite frequently and their frozen custards, sundaes and cakes are to die for...we always get fast, friendly and very courteous service and the cakes we special order are Always amazing...I would highly recommend this place of business and their products ....great job guys thanks ? .....Audrey Madeley.
