The staff should get 5 stars but the rest of it… negative. Came here to eat on vacation and wish we’d gone to chilis instead.1. It was boiling hot in there. One of the staff told me it’s because the owner yelled at them to keep it 72 degrees. Which it is not. It was cooler outside at 84 than inside.The workers were sweating visibly and very exhausted but still so kind. The owner should be ashamed of himself! He doesn’t work in there- so he shouldn’t get a say. Not to mention the foodborne pathogens that grow in that kind of heat.2. My mom was served a chicken sandwich that had a half green tomato and the chips I had were so salty they were inedible. My husbands tossed salad was pathetic and tiny at a high price! The breast was well seasoned on my moms sandwich and cooked well and my wrap was mediocre. The lack of quality is not due to the kitchen staff. Due to the ingredients they were forced to use.3. There is no kids menu! The menu doesn’t tell you exactly what is on the sandwich or wrap.4. The bathrooms were dirty and in disrepair.If you want to charge insanely high prices at least provide a good experience.
We ate there during Thunder in the Valley 2022. It was super busy. After being seated our waitress, Holly, quickly got our drink orders followed by our food orders. My husband had a normal breakfast of eggs, toast and sausage. I had their lobster bisque soup and a side salad. He said his breakfast was good. My lobster bisque soup was delicious, although I would like to have found some chunks of lobster in it. But it came out creamy and very hot which is how I like my soup. The salad was a normal side salad with just iceberg lettuce, tomato, and cucumbers. We were each brought a pot of coffee because I was drinking decaf and he had regular. That works out well in a restaurant that is as busy as they were because you do not have to wait for coffee. To sum it up once we were seated the order was taken quickly, the food came fast, we had a good service from Holly; everything was good including the price! We would return again.
Food and service have always been great when we go. One of the few places in town I wouldn't be embarrassed to bring my in laws to lol.
Not our best experience. The corner is awesome but our young waitress was slow and refused to make eye contact. Sat for 45 minutes.
Came for breakfast with my family. We sat and waited for 1 hr and 20 minutes at our table after we placed our food order. Got our drinks after waiting 10-15 minutes. We were about to leave as we didn’t see our server at all. Then someone must of heard us tell one of the ladies who work there that we were not waiting any longer and we’re leaving. Then they said our food would be out soon. Came out shortly after that and they didn’t give us a break on our bill, but did apologize. The people who came after us got their food on time. Why were we forgotten about? Really rude to say the least and the server didn’t even check on us and tried to find her multiple times to no avail. We will not be returning.
Very disappointed in this place!! And was looking forward to trying the food here . First off we was greeted with a eye roll from a waitress because we had 8 people in our group because we are in johnstown visiting family for mother's day!! Second service here is very lacking never got asked for a refill on my drink sat there for almost 2 hours . Then I Finally asked for a refill never got it . Absolutely horrible service . Food is not that good ! Portions are a little skimpy if you ask me I, only received 5 French fries ! And the "gob cake" is not real gob cake .It was cake with whipped cream ! Yucky !

If you are looking for a diner, you found it, complete with waitress drama. Maybe a little too much drama, which is why the 4 star rating instead of 5. Entertaining but completely unnecessary during a meal.
This diner is the absolute best of the best. I frequent here very often for breakfast..lunch ..and dinner. The food is absolutely terrific. The service is impeccable. My waitresses have all been absolutely fantastic. And somehow ...they remember you! The last time I was there...the cute little girl asked about my mom. She actually knew me by name. She knew what we drank and brought them with her as she greeted us. The place treats you like family...warm...caring....so comfortable. Forget chain restaurants!!! Highly highly recommend!
Great local joint with excellent food. The service was friendly, fun, and helpful. The servings were large (I had the aptly named big breakfast), and the ingredients and flavors were top notch. Avoid a chain restaurant and come here instead. You'll be glad you did!
