Honestly, I don’t leave reviews for anything. But I need to share this. Service: garbage. Food: garbage. The Diet Pepsi was the only thing I enjoyed thoroughly. Fries had enough salt to put you into cardiac arrest. Meatloaf was burnt, don’t even understand how that’s possible. Was given the wrong flavor of bacon and was told “sorry about that”. I actually don’t understand how this place is open. Will never go here again.
Great food. However service was slow and hectic. The male bartender wasn't aware of what the restaurant offered and gave us attitude when we took our time figuring out what to order.Watched as service team sat and gossiped in corner of the bar when we needed drinks. My mother got fed up and walked to the bartender and got the drink herself!Again. Great food. Not a place to go to if you don't have 2 hours time minimum
Food was okay, not necessarily worth the price. Chairs are metal and sitting in them for 3+ hours (half of that time simply waiting for a burger) is treacherous to tailbones. Long wait times for food. Pleasant waitstaff (only reason for a 3 and not less).
The food is fantastic! Loads and loads of BACON! The menu is also meatless friendly. We ate outside on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. The service was excellent. The waitress was very personable and friendly. The drinks were very good also. The only downside was that the cheeses listed on the sandwiches were not available and the appetizer we ordered was unavailable.
I wish I could leave a higher rating, I'd be interested in trying this restaurant again but I'm not sure. The slowest service I've ever experienced. I came in with my family (all adults) on mother's day around 4pm. There were about 5 tables but the rest empty, it took the bartender over 30 minutes to make drinks and my mom had to walk up to the bar for a refill on her drink because the waiter was no where to be found. We're not from this area we were visiting my brother, we checked out asiago's the night before and it was fantastic and had high hopes. Not so great. The waiter, i think Jason, seemed annoyed from the start and was not friendly, if it was his first day then I could understand, otherwise he really contributed to the 2 star review. When my mom asked about the type of fries being served (fresh or frozen) he mentioned the restaurant doesn't have a freezer, while another server walked by with ice cream ?♀️. The food was ok, i asked for extra crispy bacon (in a restaurant that specializes i figured that's not that difficult), it was fleshy and the bread was so hard it was ripping up the roof of everyone's mouth. But the fries were good!Fix y'alls awful customer service.
I was surprised to see my table and only one other table in the place was occupied. This place is a hidden gem on Scalp Ave. I was there with my 2 business associates for dinner. I ordered the maple apple flat bread and beignets for dessert. Also had drinks off their specialty drink menu that is massive and cool. I particularly enjoyed imbibing the cherry flavored cocktail. Everything was fresh, delicious and perfect temperature. Others from my table ordered a half pound bacon, Buffalo chicken salad, and the Train Wreck (yes, that’s the name on the menu lol) grilled cheese. Also, some cocktails. They all enjoyed their food and drinks as well. Bathrooms have interesting interiors and are clean. Final thoughts: I’m impressed. Really looking forward to returning again and again in the near future to try more on their menu. I highly suggest if you want to try something new, please go eat there. You won’t be disappointed.
Plastic cooked in our food and we discovered it while eating.I’m just leaving the restaurant and surprised that we had to pay for a meal that had the plastic wrapper cooked into it.We ordered the spinach artichoke dip and while eating it discovered a large piece of plastic, from the package they used, cooked into it. We got a “oh yeah sorry, it’s the wrapper.” We thought it was artichoke until my husband realized it was plastic. The reaction was concerning and I’m not happy about paying for the appetizer. I wish I had taken a picture before they took it away.
We went here for the Valentine's Day dinner and were not disappointed. The strawberry themed appetizer and drink were delicious, and the bacon was stellar as usual. Bacon lovers rejoice!
The food here is great. The service, however, is hit or miss. I have gone and have been seated and sat for 15 mins without anyone asking us for drinks or even given water. We ended up leaving. Then there are times the service is great. This restaurant had great potential, just hope they figure out the staffing. The food is great!. Drinks are amazing.
Food was pricey, but good. The kitchen was out of some things, we didn't know until after we had ordered and had to make changes. Cool aesthetic inside, huge bar menu
