Great burgers and Italian subs! Sadly, they are closed on government holidays and are only open for lunch. I highly recommend giving this place a try even if you have to go out of your way.
The BEST food in Harrisburg! I would recommend getting a Philly cheese steak or burger with fries. Love supporting mom and pop places. Cash only!
Great food!! Busy place, but line went fast. Would definitely go back!!
Went here for the first time today and I will definitely be back! The food was amazing and the staff was even better. I spoke to a man named Corey who was very kind and helpful! I loved the atmosphere of the place as well, it was definitely worth a hike, 10/10! :))
The Jackson House used to be a weekly spot while I was working in Harrisburg, the COVID hit and I started working from home. I’d been craving a Turkey club sub (and a Jackson Burger, a 9th & Hamilton cheesesteak) for two years.I finally got a chance to stop in today. After thinking about this sandwich for this long, there’s no way it could live up to my expectations, right? Well, it was everything I wanted. Perfectly crisp bacon, wonderfully ripe tomatoes, and the only roll a hoagie should be built upon. Thanks guys, you nailed it. Now I have to find some excuse to come back to the office once in a while.
The best sub in Central Pa PERIOD. It start with the bread and it’s amazing. The meat is freshly sliced per sub, and definitely made with love. I live in York and it worth the drive. It’s that darn good!!!
Super friendly staff! And super hoppin hoagies! 100% would recommend to anyone in the Harrisburg area ☺️
Love their food they're fresh homemade patties are fresh everyday a frozen Burger is just not going to cut it we just had that discussion and they said that straight out their mouth a frozen Burger will not cut it their burgers are fresh love it
Absolutely THE BEST hoagie you can have quality wise in Central Pa period! It’s the worth the drive, trust me. F’in amazing!!!
Had the Bada Bing, one of their takes on an Italian sub. Roll is crusty and awesome. They grate fresh Parmigiano. Sub was far too big for me to eat in one sitting - maybe in my 20's. Of course, they're famous for their HUGE burgers too. Don't even mess around with fries unless you have a tremendous appetite. Always very friendly service.
