We just moved up to PA from Va.Being from the south every weekend there's always a fish fry?We found a Soul food restaurant called Nyress in Camp hill,but moved to Harrisburg but never seemed to be open ?Found this restaurant and we decided to drive up to Harrisburg and check it out.Getting out of the car,I immediately smelt the fish ?and knew this was legit ??The food was authentic and simply delicious ?reminded me of the Cookouts and fish fry that my family would have on the weekend's with the old school music playing and people dancing and the guys playing horseshoes games ?The food was prepared fresh and definitely the store bought ?We will definitely return back ??
Thought I found the perfect spot and my order is always 50 and up but I’m done coming here every time I come they never have main sides example corn bread Mac and cheese baked beans also never have baked chicken sorry some people don’t always want fried and don’t eat seafood so disappointed
I've ate here twice in a week usually on Saturday and I have to say I was very pleased with their customer service and their food and their prices it's only around the corner from my house they'll definitely be getting more business from me as well as references they are a great overall place to eat
First time I ordered here it was not good. The chicken wings were bland which I ordered two orders supposed to be bbq and they were plain no bbq in sight. Mac n cheese tasted of just salt and pepper as though it was a forgotten ingredient and thrown on top. Food was missing from my order. What was advertised I didn’t receive. I will not be ordering here again.
Wings not freshly made pre-cooked mac and cheese overwhelming taste of garlic,yams a tad bit spicy. I love too support black owned businesses today I cannot.
The service is absolutely atrocious. The food is mediocre, but the service makes you not wanna come back on its own.

In my opinion the food was not good. I ordered the chicken wing platter, which was supposed to come with cornbread but they sent a cold roll. I requested my wings well done and they were mushy. I also ordered their shrimp which was obviously frozen store bought shrimp. I do not recommend and will never order again.

The food is on point. From the Mac and cheese. Greens. Potato Salad and other down good soul food. From fried fish dinners. Crab cakes. Fried chicken. Sweet staff. Banana pudding. Pound cake. Amongst other deserts.
