I stopped in to get take out for dinner. The owner greeted me and was incredibly gracious and welcoming. While I waited she brought me out a complimentary samosa and a helping of vegetable chow mean. It was delicious. It’s not often that you are treated with that type of hospitality. They have a large buffet with all sorts yummy dishes. Stop in and give it a try. I’ll be going back weekly.
We ate buffet there while we were crossing Harrisburg PA. They have at least 20 dishes and Buffet. This is one of the best buffet I have ever eaten, all the dishes were like I had ordered separately. Price is just $14 per person. The staff is amazing. Very nice ambience. I would highly recommend and would surely eat there again. Btw don’t forget to try there cardamom chai.
First time going here, didn’t even realize it was a restaurant. I was pretty excited when I saw the menu and buffet options online and from reviews. Wow was I ever disappointed today. I guess there was an event/wedding before I arrived. I asked if buffet was available. Buffet was practically empty, but was able to throw together 2 plates of food. I was literally the only person in there. While I’m eating, I am assuming it is the owners and their son, won’t stop arguing with each other. When I say it was loud and disturbing, that is an understatement. I could not relax and actually enjoy my food at all. The arguing continued to escalate, even to the point of the son slamming through the door to the kitchen to go after the dad and then all yelling and cussing at each other ready to physically fight. Dad is a bully he said when I was ready to go. Said sorry for the noise….yeah no kidding, noise? Way more than noise and language. That has to be the most unprofessional place I have ever gone to eat to not be able to control themselves in front of a dining guest. It’s sad too because of what crumbs were actually left at the buffet the taste was decent. If I were them they should all be embarrassed of themselves. I still left a 20% tip. They should have paid me after that experience. I was really hopeful for this place because it is literally 2 minutes away. No thanks. I’ll just drive further to Himalayan Fusion. May be further, less at the buffet, but I can actually enjoy the food there in peace.
The food was fresh and delicious! Loved the ambience along with the courteous owner. Definitely recommending this to anyone looking for tasty Nepalese food that’s bang for the buck.
I came here by chance and can easily say I’ll be coming back. The chicken tandoor had an incredible flavor and the meat melted right off the bone. Both the chicken and lamb curry had the proper spice where it gave your mouth a buzz but wasn’t overpowering. The hostess was pleasant and attentive. The buffet was absolutely fresh. 5/5 stars!!
Bountiful Indian buffet with delightful favorites like butter chicken, dal, mint chutney... love the variety! Very accommodating hostess/owner. Can't wait to taste the lamb curry I missed last week!?
Finally, buffet all day at a good price. Best Indian/Nepalese food in Harrisburg hands down.
Excellent food. Flavor is perfect!!! Best Indian food around. Super friendly service. Our new place to go!!
I work across the street from Royal Chef and go there often to get the take out buffet. The food is always fresh and hot. There are numerous vegetarian options and the buffet is clearly labeled with the vegetarian and non-vegetarian food completely separated. The amount of food you get for the price is unbeatable. The restaurant is very clean and the owners are extremely kindhearted and friendly. I will continue to support this hardworking family and I encourage others to do so as well.
I’ve been here 4 times for the lunch buffet. Excellent food (tandoori chicken, dal, curry chicken, goat, paneer, vegetable samosa, channa masala, fresh naan, etc.).
