This was my fourth time there. We decided to pick this place for Mother’s Day but worst mistake ever. Waitress was awful, she was stressed with an attitude and definitely didn’t mind showing us. Took forever to get refills on drinks. We ordered our appetizers and were finished with them for about 30 min before our dinner order was even taken, at that time still no refill on drinks. Dinner was served barely warm and with attitude. This definitely was my last time there.
The food is delicious at the Progress Grill. Appetizers consisted of Fried Zucchini and Spinach Pie enough of each to share. The Crab in Wine Sauce, Broiled Seafood (one w/ Lobster and one without) was cooked to perfection. You won't go wrong with the Creme Brulee for desert. I go there often and will return often.
The seafood was pretty good!! Large portions. Not a very welcoming atmosphere. Would have been nice to be greeted and not stared at from across the room.
My partner and I chose this place because we were looking for a more upscale restaurant for a celebratory meal. Unfortunately, nothing but the prices were upscale about this place.-The interior was very dated (circa 1980’s probably)-The food (we each had different kinds of seafood) was either dry, oily, bland or somehow a combination of all three-My cocktail tasted like cough syrup-The rolls were stale and dry-And though our server was friendly, she was racing around so much that, rather than having a relaxed dining experience, we felt rushedI think for people who know and love this place already, it’s great—seems like it’s been a staple in the community for years… But if you’re looking for a fine dining experience in the Burg with great ambiance and food, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.
Had dinner w/friends, no wait. The specials were told to us by our wonderful waitress Joanne! The food was plentiful and delicious!!! When we travel to Harrisburg, we always stop at the Progress Grill for a wonderful dinner. They don't disappoint!
Excellent as usual!!!! Please never go out of business! There’s no where else to go for crab cakes!!!!

Went to Progress Grill for Anniversary. My wife ordered a T-bone steak which was burnt. She could not eat if. My home fries were also over cooked.
