Great service! The guy who helped me was so helpful and friendly! Not just to me but to other customers as well! I saw him walk an elderly lady out to her car and helped her in. I say that's going above and beyond! Also not to mention the food was delicious like always!
Twenty Minute wait for two on a Wednesday night. The waitress was the only saving grace at this restaurant. Tried to eat low carb and my medium sirloin steak came out closer to well done, there was no pink. The chef forgot to include eggs in my daughter's scramble. Had delivery from Arooga's later that night and it was much better, should have eaten there first. (My daughter asked if we could not ever eat at a Perkins again!)
A good place for a quick bite or choose some scrumptious bakery items like muffins, cookies, and pies. Great service and friendly staff. We enjoyed the cinnamon roll, pumpkin cheesecake, and chocolate silk pie.Update: A great breakfast place...fast service and everything tasted great. Kids got full really fast as they inhaled their pancakes and biscuits.
Well the food is not too bad but let me tell you....try chocolate cake is so good not too sweet and very fluffy ....good dark chocolate cake
Quite possibly the best experience at a "chain" restaurant we've ever had! The food was fresh, hot, and delicious, and fast! All the staff were amazing and friendly. Our waiter, John, was fabulous! Friendly, outgoing, funny, and had a sixth sense on what we wanted before we even asked. (Extra napkins, plastic utensil kits with our leftovers boxes. Apricot Syrup! Other condiments.)We were staying at a nearby hotel, as my husband was working at the GAOS at the farm show that week. We also got to chat with the manager, as well as a couple guys from the kitchen, who were equally terrific! Everyone there seemed so friendly and welcoming, like having dinner with friends.Loved it so much, we went three times that week!I got my favorite "Build a Breakfast" twice, because I do love Perkins breakfast food. Applewood bacon was so flavorful and cooked perfectly. And that Apricot Syrup on the fluffy pancakes is my favorite reason to go to any Perkins! Also had the turkey dinner, which was excellent, and my first non-breakfast meal at a Perkins.Hubby kept saying each day that he planned to get chicken fried steak, but alas, each day he was tempted by a different offering. He started with the Build a Breakfast. Next was the Breakfast Burger. The third day, he was determined to get the chicken fried steak. But, as John our wonderful waiter walked quickly to serve another guest, he showed hubby the evening’s special: 18oz T-bone! Hubby couldn’t resist, and ordered a rare-cooked steak with eggs over easy and crisp hash browns. A week later, and he’s still talking about how delicious it was!Overall, a terrific dining experience! I hope we get to be back for next year’s GAOS, just to visit this Perkins again! (Unfortunately, we live 3hrs away, or else we’d visit weekly)John, Thank You for being so wonderful! And thank the other great staff, too! <3And maybe next time hubby will get that chicken fried steak... Unless some other delicacy calls to him ;)
Don’t eat the eggs from flying J, it taste like how the pharmacy smells.Nevertheless, after the first failed attempt at medium well steak I should’ve just left, don’t get me wrong they make great food at Perkins but, the second steak was Still well done, next time it’ll just be medium rareThe problem with well-done steak is, you can’t tell if it’s fresh or old, it takes a long time to digest, and causes problems with the digestion track and it has very little to no nutrients in terms of B vitamins which I have to now take along with magnesium to prevent the stake from harming me.I might be having bad luck just because I had sxx last night, I noticed the longer I stay away from sxx the more my life is like living in the garden of Eden
A wealth of comfort food and numerous awesome bakery items! Food is piping hot when served and staff is efficient!
Actually had one of the best turkey club sandwiches at this Perkins. Service was quick and very pleasant. Price is right. Good stop.
The food was ok. The service good. But it's too pricey for me. I can't remember ever being charged for a refill in my travel mug with the beverage I was drinking with my meal. That brought my breakfast up to almost $20. This restaurant is in a truck stop. I can't afford this price, so I won't be back.
Kieth my server was very attentive and prompt. Ready to serve you with a big smile. I could tell that this guy was happy to be here and enjoying his job
