I've eaten in a lot of Panera Restaurants over the years and this one appeared to be the worst managed of them all. The trash was full and had not been emptied in hours. Someone had started to refill the tea canisters and left the bag of tea sitting. The basic appearance of the restaurant was disheveled. I ordered my food to dine in yet I was served in to go containers, while an employee served himself on regular dishes. I would go to another Panera location before returning here.
I would suggest that you avoid the Panera at 4259 Union Deposit Rd in Harrisburg, PA. While the food is up to the great standards set by most Paneras, this one is decidedly frustrating and disappointing. The kiosk method of food ordering is off-putting, and if there is a problem with your order, they make one try to call your phone and then put your order on hold, whether they dialed the correct phone number or not. Whether you are doing take out or dining in, they give you your food wrapped up and put in a paper bag with only the bare minimum of plastic utensils. This is definitely NOT what we have come to expect from Panera.
First off, this is not to blame the staff at this location. They're short staffed and you do get a warning at the door that you'll have to either order online or through the kiosk when you walk in because of it. They're just working with the hand they've been dealt. This is just more a warning that if you go to this location make sure you ask how long the wait for food will be before you order. We found out from some of the other people waiting that they had already been there 45-60 mins waiting for their order to come up. Wouldn't have been an issue if weren't on our way to work. I have a feeling online orders are getting in the way of in-store customers and that may be why they were so backlogged.
Order was NOT delivered properly by Door Dash.Missing item, got runaround from Panera local store manager and Door Dash never responded to complaint.DOOR DASH UPPRICES menu prices AND charges delivery fee on top of UPPRICES.DO NOT ORDER FROM ONLINE SITE...UNLESS YOU TOO WANT TO LOSE MONEY?
been ordering here from this store for years, brought me wrong order for my delivery, when I called to get my original order they didn't want to deliver it to me. How does me ordering a delivery order translate to wanting to pick it up? honestly if you want a better sandwich and soup in the area, head to Mcallisters Deli or sandwich man, both are nearby and blow them away.
This is a good place for food but every since it switched to drive through only it takes years and I mean DECADES JUST TO GET A BAGEL WITH CREAM CHEESE AND A ICE TEA IT TAKES AT LEAST AN HOUR NOT PLAYING EITHER it takes a very long long long time
Ordered the Green Goddess salad. My salad had no avocado at all and only a half of an egg. For the amount we pay for these small portions of food, it would be nice to get the full order.
Bad service … we rent order the exactly order what we want to … cause she never hear what we wont to …. And her and the other girl just was laughing… that’s not a good service .. that order was 3:37 pm . And in the order she give us lemonade and not my green te …. Please don’t buy again in this rush our.
10/20/21 walk up because I'm a truck driver door is locked. Stand in drive-thru behind 2 vehicles for them to tell me to come inside. Ordered the new Mac and cheese sandwich and get a grilled cheese ?. I do like panera and will just find another location to visit.
I went into this Panera a few nights ago. I could tell they were really understaffed but that didn’t bother me because these employees are working through a pandemic. What bothered me was the manager of this location yelling at his employees in front of the customers. Very unprofessional. My pastry was the only good part of my experience there.
