This is my new "must make a stop" place when I am in town. The food was awesome and then guy that waited on us was very friendly and helpful.

Got 2 orders of jerk chicken with plantains and rice and beans. What else can I say besides oh my god? The meat was juicy and tender, falling off the bone, seasoned to perfection, the plantains were great and the rice did a perfect job of mopping up any lingering taste in the container, all in all, found a new favorite for date night.

Wonderful. We had the Egusi & Fufu. One of my favorites is the Okra Stew & Fufu. They have 3 different kinds of rice, fish, chicken & lamb. The beef patties are delightful as well. I'm sure there's more on the menu that I haven't had yet.Always good energy and a calm atmosphere. Nice sized portions too. Good deal for you money!

This restaurant does not disappoint in quantity or flavor.

Good for take out. Family run local business. The food portion was plenty, but not my taste. The place isn’t the best, but plenty of parking available. The food price was reasonable, but could be a cleaner space to eat.

Friendly, welcoming staff and excellent food. Tons of flavor and large portions that will last you into another meal. We ordered three platters (featuring oxtail, plantains, fish, curried goat, rice, and attieke) and they were ready for pickup ten minutes later. Also enjoyed the homemade sorrel and ginger juices, the latter of which soothed and relieved the throat of my friend who suffers from chronic lung and coughing issues. She says it’s the best she’s felt in months. If only we were locals!

This was my first time eatting here and I've never eaten African food before. The food is delicious ? Thank You

Tried them for the first time today and I am in foodie love! The fufu and egusi was amazing ? it was warm, comforting, and nostalgic like homemade soup and potatoes when your mom kept you home sick from school. Mariama's definitely puts love in their food, it's in the taste!

The food was so yummy.Portions were huge.A must try place.Oxtail stew is my personal favorite.

It’s a good place to eat if you’re looking for Jamaican cuisine or Close to African related food in the area. I might see why some people say it’s bland and has no taste but it’s because they give you a small container of hot curry not only spicy but savory and you close the level of heat you can handle if you chose to combine it with your food
