We had a group of 18 and we ate upstairs and had our own private area and bar! My prime rib was really good but a little salty as they coat the outside with salt & pepper. It only came w/roasted potatoes, no salad/vegetable. My friends who had the filet all said it was lukewarm at best. Unfortunately, many people said they wouldn't return.
Small portions. Don’t ask for a vegetarian option. They will prepare a pile of beans and greens(a small pile). It actually was good, but maybe as a side. Certainly not a main course. If you don’t wish to make a vegetarian entree, just say so. We would have been fine with that. The staff are so stressed out there. You can feel their misery. That was sad, and I just wanted to give them hugs. The clientele are the stuffy type. I’ve been to restaurants that are many times more expensive. The quality at this restaurant just doesn’t equal the cost.
RUBICON is a very good oyster place
The cuisine was extremely good, although quite pricey. Much more than it should have been. I also don't like a 20% gratuity automatically added to the bill. That is my customary tip, but I don't like it automatically added.
Pros:•The waitress was amazing! Super sweet and made the experience more welcoming.•The ambience was fantastic! We sat at the top tier and was able to look down to the first floor. Beautiful decor. Very trendy. Reminded me of NYC•Appitiezers were delish. Flavorful and fresh.Cons:•Main dish is served in small portions. I ordered the gnocchi with sausage and I didn't receive the sausage•Prices are expensive. Dinner for 2 with 4 drinks 2 apps and 2 main meals came out to $170 and that's only because we chose the more cost effective options.Overall ok experience. Would not go back again.
Decent food and drinks but price is outrageous. $200 for two people to have dinner with one mediocre cocktail each just seems way too expensive. Don’t see myself going back anytime soon.

Okay, so I didn't like the food here very much at all, but the reason it's getting one star is because they basically replaced Rubicon with the Mangia Qui menu and its awful. I'm so sad. They ruined my favorite restaurant...
I went on a first date to Mangia Qui.The atmosphere & decor is delightful, & the Chef went out of her was to make a special plant based meal for me. Absolutely delicious * Superb service. I’m still there in my mind enjoying everything.
