I would have really, really liked to give this a 5 stars but in all fairness I can’t or The purpose of fair reviews would be defeated.We made a reservation for 7:30 but we’re seated around 8:00 pm after asking the Hostess what was going on. We were seated at the table but an hour later there was still NO main dishes being servedThe young couple with a child, seated at the same table had to complain and tell the manager or hostess if food was not served in 5 minutes they would leave! And Surprise! The Chef showed up and started to cook! The much expected “cooking show,” was fair but forgettable and so was the food.I hope they clean the Women bathroom because they were truly disgusting!
. THIS PLACE IS FILTHY & you should NOT EAT HERE. I posted pictures of what the back of the restaurant looks like. They DO NOT CLEAN. It looks like the floors haven’t been cleaned since it was built. I wish there was a option for negative stars.. i only worked here for 3 days and quit. I’ve worked at devon’s in hershey and longhorn steakhouse and have never in my life seen a kitchen and restaurant like this. Save yourself from getting food poisoning or worse.
The food was amazing and it was cool but I feel like you go to these for the experience and we couldn't hear our chef at all he sounded like it was his 20th party of the night and was worn out (understandably so) but very good food decently priced.
Amazing Sushi! I hammered down 5 sushi Rolls and my buddy hammered down 6!
Very good hibachi style food. Very busy so service was a little slow trying to keep up but the extremely good food cooked perfectly more than made up for it. Had the teriyaki steak and shrimp combination. Some of the best shrimp I've ever had and the steak was perfect.
Service is great and the food is delicious.
The food taste great with a mild flavor. As soon as you enter the restaurant a very nice lady at the front greets you. Compared to other hibachi places Kajmichi use very low amount of sauces and the food is very mild in taste. The yum yum sauce is not sweet but rather more sour and little bit sweet. Atmosphere is very calm and relaxing. 4 star due to not so happy waitress. Was a first time guest so wasn’t aware you can only choose soup or salad and rice or noodles for lunch time.
The food was delicious. My only gripe was that if you order anything that is not hibachi, it’s not timed very well with when the rest of your table gets their food. Was told that my appetizer was unable to me made because it was too late AFTER my sushi had been brought and we asked for the third time about my app. They did end up making it for me but it really just was a shame it happened in the first place
Had a lovely date night with my daughter. The chefs are always fun and the food nothing short of delicious. I would recommend you go before you are officially hungry or else the pace could frustrate you. The chef doesn't come out until everyone is there. Have a beer or bourbon, grab an app or two, and have a relaxing time!
The food was great, our chef was fun and interactive! That was a very enjoyable part of our evening. However, we had a reservation for 4 & sat down at 7:30 and it was maybe 8:15 until someone acknowledged our presence. At which point the server had already greeted the table that sat down after us. I understand restaurants are short staffed and that she was busy, but what prevented her from saying “hi, I’m busy, someone will be with you soon” for 45 minutes? We waited an hour + for the chef to show up at our table. Based on this experience & the other reviews I would recommend not going there hungry as you’ll have to wait.
