It has potential and the catfish was amazing... The portion size didn't match my expectations but the fish was delicious. Also, it took about 10 minutes before we were acknowledged and another 15 minutes before we received our drinks.

The only thing bad about this place is the parking. The food is amazing, The staff is great.

Sunday brunch with my favorite cousin, she ordered catfish, grits, egg over easy, and bacon. I ordered sweet potato pancakes eggs over easy and bacon. The servers were friendly and helpful. The food came very fast and was hot. The atmosphere in the establishment was very comforting and happening. The menu is southern comfort and tonita her is attitude warming and she is a great help very knowledge on the items they have..! Definitely 10/10

The food is amazing! Great prices, welcoming environment and wonderful service from Tomara. If you’re in Gatlinburg, come on in and get ya some ?‍☠️ If you’re lucky Roman will take pictures of your family and print onsite.

I love this place a must try if in Harrisburg people good and so is the food

I had an excellent time with my family the hostess was very professional I recommend it to anyone that wants to have a nice time

Tried this place on a whim celebrating our ten year anniversary. We were so impressed with the quality of food and atmosphere. Service was a little slow and not very familiar with the menu, but everyone is hiring new help these days so we weren't bothered. Dirty Martini was very good and the crab cake was among the best I've ever had.

Found this place looking for a new place to eat. While I question the quality for its location being on 6th street. I was a bit hesitant. Then getting there and seeing poor parking. I was going to keep driving. But the online menu tempted southern catfish.. just the thought that some inner city northern restaurant would even hint at southern food was not only a joke, but a insult to southern food.. I had to see. While walking in. I felt a mild white guy walking into a deep south southern Baptist church. But the staff. Was in a word. Amazing. I was seated and chatted with like I was family. I ordered the catfish breakfast. And folks, those who follow my food blog, know I am a catfish junkie. And this place.. lord, I swear, made me feel ashamed for questioning the food. Upon tasting the fish, I felt like I was back home down south. It was seasoned perfect, the fish light and flaky. The soft jazz was at a perfect tone. I can not express enough how this place is in the wrong part of town not to mention the wrong state. While talking to my wonderful waitress Kammi. Found out it was family owned. I didn't meet her grandfather who started this restaurant. But I love the old guy. The corn bread.. it's real corn bread. Soft, moist, sweet. Folks up north don't have no clue of good corn bread.. this would give my own grandparents a good run.. so good, so good.As I said, this place is not without faults. Noticed a leak bucket in the ceiling, but the place was southern clean... don't know what that means.. go there. Sit, look at your table, the floor, the staff. Higher class places in the city should be ashamed. But sadly While the food was almost perfect. They did show they're northern side.. the grits. If you had honest grits..and love them. This was the only downside.. They're instant.. if not instant, definitely microwaved. No butter on them either. I know, that be enough to call it a day and leave. But it's the north, I was grateful they made the attempt. But they made it up fully with the bacon. The bacon is thick cut. Thick. Like a good southern girls thighs and just as yummy. They also have a capt. Crutch French toast. And it will bring you closer to the God of your choice. That good. So, if in Harrisburg.. skip all the other places, and hit this place up. You will not regret it.

Great food, nice patio. I had the shrimp n grits, fried green tomatoes & crab cake with Mac n cheese and collard greens. I also took food to go for my daughter at home.. she ordered catfish with black eye pea salad and mac n cheese and she said it was good.. I will come back again for brunch. The experience was very nice. I recommend it. Also they were short staffed, but I didn't even notice. My server was outstanding. I went on Sept 11, 2021 around 6pm. Hope you enjoy it if you go.

I love their fried catfish, greens and corn bread, can't forget their delicious voodoo cocktail.
