Il start off with the open faced roadt beef is great. Butwhzn i took a bit of there chilli cheese fries my life changed, time stopped for a momment. They are amazing. All in all i highly recommend them
Decided to stop and say Hi to one of my favorite servers Reene. Since this diner is only open from 5am to 2pm,it has been hard for us to stop. We each had an omelet....bacon omelet, cheese extra cost with homefries and toast. I had mushroom omelet,cheese extra cost with homefries and toast. I asked for lightly done homefries...did not get them done that way. Great coffee. Reene is a great server and even as busy as she was, was very attentive and friendly. Men's restroom was not very clean and the floor where we were sitting was in dire need of cleaning. There was a TV right near where we were sitting...turned up loud.. very annoying. At the checkout counter,there is a sign stating discount for cash..received no discount. Checkout person knew nothing about it.Probably will not go back.
Food was good, however the overall experience was very unpleasant. Went for a quick family breakfast, and felt very unwelcome. In addition to receiving the check seconds after recieving our food, their interactions with other customers was night in day in comparison. I'm not a negative person so maybe they were just having a bad day.
The food came out luke warm. Great flavor but not hot enough. They were busy so I will take that as a good reason. Our waitress wouldn't even get one star. Amy was rude. We were sat at a table that actually rocked back and forth when we asked if she could do something about it she told us she didn't know. Fair enough then go ask someone else what can be done...didn't happen. I asked another waitress and she offered us to move to the next table which we did. We were eating and the people in the booth next to us left. Silverware were put on the table before it was wiped. ?? Amy came over with her cloth and wiped around the silverware. I told another worker and he recleaned the table. Amy asked if we wanted more drinks my husband and I answered no but our friends were thinking about it she didn't give them a chance to answer and said again DRINKS!! When we paid I complained to the young man and he said "ya sometimes she is in a bad mood." Well then (Karen) I mean Amy you should stay home and not take it out on paying customers. Ok done venting...usually our experiences here are good ones. However today Amy happened!!!
Was traveling through town and saw this restaurant. Not a lot of bells and whistles.... But, the restaurant was clean, the service and food was good.... Decent prices also ?
Stopped here for quick bite while visiting some friends. Food was so-so. Pancakes were bland and bacon was cold. They replaced bacon with 4 pieces stuck together and half cooked. No plans on returning to this spot.
I came here about a month ago and ordered the colonial special waffle. This had to be the worst food I have ever had. The waffle itself was sour and did not have any of the toppings that were advertised. The day after coming here, I got food poisoning from the waffle. Not to mention the awful smell and staff coming out and spraying febreeze everywhere
Very delicious! I really like the french toast with fruit and the chicken tenders! This is probably one of the best colonial foods ever! 10/10 Really recommended.
Food was colder than the table I sat at. bacon was cooked the day before and thrown in the microwave. It crumbled on the plate. Prices way to high to be serving substandard food. Service was good though so I did tip but I should have refused to pay for the meal. I blame the owner for being a lazy piece of trash.
Love the green eggs & ham!! Also deserves too stay where it’s located. 83 doesn’t need to be any bigger. PA sucks
