I would give it no stars if possible since I waited for 30 minutes and left with nothing. Why are you guys not taking peoples orders? I was there for 30 minutes without anyone taking my order. I tried the drive in and drive thru. This is so unacceptable. I don’t usually write bad reviews but this was needed. I work in food service myself and know how hard it can be. However, I’m looking around and only seeing 4 cars in the parking lot, so what is your excuse?? I will never be coming here again.
After moving to Hanover from Texas last June, we were happy to see a food staple from Texas, Oklahoma, Sonic after 2 visits we realized this was not the sonic we knew back in TX or OK. Poor service, non Sonic quality food, app not working so missing out on deals and rewards we were use to. Jump to a posting I saw a few weeks ago (April/May 2022) on Next Door about a new manager who was working at making the a good location. today I tried it, It was the old.Sonic we were use to, with great service, Sonic quality food AND the app worked so I was ablot to buy one get one free hot dog offered. also all day happy hour if Ordering on app. I also got onion rings which were very well cooked, not a mushy grease ring like last summer. very glad to see the new manager is living up to her postings and hoping this stays a grest.location so we can become once a again loyal Sonic customers like we were in Texas
Yo. Only go here if you want a cheeseburger. It's the only menu item that is any good. It is also the only menu item they ever seem to have. Don't even bother ordering shakes or anything like it. They never have it. Their chicken is terrible! Like that chicken did not deserve to die to become that. Shameful. But I do admit their double cheeseburger is pretty damn good. Also check your order if you order anything besides a cheeseburger. My son ordered bbq popcorn chicken...he got bbq tater tots. So yeah....
Only got a grape slush but it was delicious. Their slushies are always good. I haven’t eaten there is years so I’m not sure about the food part.
We stop here whenever we need to go to Hanover. I think maybe one time out of the last half dozen, we have actually been able to get the food we wanted. They are either out of a bunch of items, the ice cream machine is broken, or they ‘closed early’. Who the heck closes at 7 pm on a warm Friday night?!
This Sonic is open for ‘business’ but only selling drinks and only accepting cards. It’s a Sonic lemonade stand. Couldn’t order food so I ordered a drink which was very bitter. Requested regular sugar but they didn’t have any. Requested a refund but told by snippety manager that she couldn’t do card refunds & didn’t have cash. I registered my complaint by pouring their nasty product on the ground & departing Sonic’s Sorry Lemonade Stand’s drive-thru. Hint; If you can’t get competent workers, can’t serve food but only drinks & can’t provide sugar for the drinks, Mgmt. might be doing more harm than good to Sonic’s business model.
Only 2 ppl working , so they are not serving food or milkshakes!!! Only slushies and soft drinks! Seriously, The only time I go there and they are only serving soda and slushies? Went to Sheetz and got an amazing strawberry banana smoothie! And my lunch for the night !
4 Times with in the past two months I went to this location and 4 times I receive the same answer " Sorry we're out of chili please come back in a hour". The funny thing is I did come back an hour later and received again the same response from the same person not remembering I was just there. When I called them out they just became annoyed asked me to move along if I was gonna be difficult. Obviously who ever is managing this location does not order enough supplies for whatever reason either out of intent or incompetence. From now on I will advise everyone I know not to wait in line wasting their lunch break just to have there favorite menu item not be available.
Food tastes weird and they're always out of everything. Can't remember the last time I ate here and had a good experience. Haven't been in forever, won't be going anytime soon.
I go to Sonic specifically for the blasts and have a gift card given as a Xmas gift waiting to be used. However for the past 2 almost 3 months, they’ve told me that their ice cream machine is broken and they’re out of several of their food items. Ive never had their lunch and breakfast stuff, just the blasts but to have a “broken” ice cream machine for 2 months straight is absolutely ridiculous. I’ll go back when that problem is resolved.
