Great selection of discounted chips, pretzels and goldfish crackers. Much cheaper than at the grocery store. Discounted products rotate based on supply.
Fun factory store to visit. They sell all the snacks they make. Great deals on snacks that are close to their best by date. No public rest rooms is the only downer.
No factory tours yet which was a bummer but interesting selection of different types of products that you don't see everywhere. Staff was okay when we visited but not overly friendly or engaged. Pretzels are some of the best you can get hands down.
The outlet store is alot of fun and they have great deals. We stopped with some friends from out of town and we all got lots of great snacks. This is definitely the place to stop for pretzels and other varieties of snacks.
If you are looking for work, Snyder's a.k.a. Campbells Snacks, is always hiring. They have 12 hour/4day work weeks and the regular 5 day/8 hour shift. Both full and part time ( or temporary) positions and employees get a discount of up to 30 percent off.
Seriously? I bought these for kindergartener’s classroom birthday party of 30 kids. Figured two per child and accounted for a few breaking. Package says 25 servings of 3. In my book that equals 75. Well there are 3 rows of 15 and in my book that’s 45. With only 2 full rods left and lots of halves there certainly are not enough to equal approximately 75. Great way to Disappoint kindergartners. I couldn’t even get to 60 for 2 each. Major fail Snyder’s. Fix your packing label!!
No overnight parking available they recommend the Walmart about 4-5 miles away and it’s FCFS for loading/unloading. They will verify your seal so don’t break it yourself. Don’t slide your tandems back (unlike most places). Quick unloading though.
So many fun things to buy at fantastic prices. The staff was very nice. But the best part was the smell outside the factory. It was like all snack food combined into one amazing potato chip/cookie/cheese ball/pretzel scent. So good!
You feel like you could take a wrong turn and end up on the factory floor but when you walk through the store doors you are greeted by smiling faces and some very unique items. What I liked the most besides the pretzel ornaments was the fact they extended their showroom floor for another local factory's items...Stauffer cookies!! While the the other stores had items from their parent company product lines it was nice to see animal crackers represented since the Stauffer factory store (in York) is closed on the weekends.There were so many buying options here for their own product lines... and variety of flavors never seen. Well worth the visit.
Drivers-Easy to get to location, plenty of parking for staging for shipping office, large drop lot with plenty of room to back into spots, employees were friendly, porta john/vending machines on site. Not much in Hanover, but apparently the walmart is truck friendly, so plan ahead if you need to do a 10hr
