Pizza is very good. Mozzarella sticks are average. Considering everything else is pretzeled, I'd be impressed with pretzel mozzarella sticks. But really, check this place out. Next time, pretzel stromboli for sure.
Great spot in Hanover, the family went for a dinner and ice cream (stuffed ice cream shake). Pretzel dough themed food, Hanover so not shocking. The food was really decent but be warned if you want ice cream get a to go container for your dinner. Portions are really big but a bit pricey, definitely a once and a while trip for me at least. Give it shot...you will not be disappointed!!! Good service too.Kid-friendliness: Ice cream shop available for kids and adults.
My husband and I stopped in after seeing so many posts about the stuffed shakes. My husband had the cheese steak mac and cheese bowl and loved it. I had the banana stuffed shake and the flavor was delicious. I would have loved a little more of the ice cream but overall it was a nice experience.
My daughter was on the suggested this because of their supposed famous milkshakes. He ended up ordering Sundays because the milkshakes are on the other end of the restaurant that we didn't see initially, as far as Sundays were concerned they were standard, nothing special or unique. I know I only see one end of the spectrum, however, it took them well over 25 minutes to get ours ice cream out to us. We ordered three of their pre-made Sundays and it took a long time. They didn't seem that busy, again from our perspective, however, I'm also aware that we only see one side of things.
Normally, experiences at small cafes like this are great. However, this was the worst experience I've EVER had at a local cafe. The staff was pleasant for the most part, but ZERO Customer Service skills. Spent over an HOUR waiting on two simple hot dogs. After waiting 30 mins, the cooks all appeared to go on break, as they all just started eating food, instead of cooking.Checked on the order at 20 mins. 35. Then 45.At 45 mins of waiting, I approached the counter to see if my order had perhaps been missed/forgotten. All I said were the words, "Hey, I ordered.. " and the cashier INTERRUPTED me to tell me that they were having issues with their printer. He never even let me finish my sentence. No one updated me on my order. No one offered to check on it. Nothing.Fast forward to over an hour of waiting: My 2 kids were crying and so hungry at that point, so I asked for a refund on my two hot dogs. The manager asked, "Are you sure you want a refund??"This place has potential, but the management style is chaotic at best, and all the employees would best be served with a course in implementing proper Customer Service skills. If you are late on an order, UPDATE your customers. Give a realistic timeline. Show care. Offer a kiddie cone to crying/smreaming kids. Do SOMEthing that shows you take pride in your company, and that you care for your customers. Make it right when you are falling to meet standard timeframes. We drove 45 mins to try this place out, as we live in Maryland. Not a mistake we'll make again.
We were very excited to stop by tonight (April 30) to try the stuffed shakes. We first ordered a turkey club and it was great. We also ordered a banana cream stuffed shake and a PB cookies and cream stuffed shake and they sure looked great but as we dug into them they were nothing but milk and whipped cream. No thick shake instead runny. Wont be going back and spending $20 on t two milkshakes that were just milk and not a true shake .
Not worth the price unfortunately. I had high hopes for this place as I deliver door dash orders from here a lot and it always smells amazing. My pretzel wrap just fell apart, was very sweet but at the same time didn’t have much flavor. Cheese fries were soggy and cold. My boyfriend’s regular pretzels were okay. His fries were cold and soggy as well. Overall would not recommend for the price.
First time here and I really enjoyed the quaint feeling this place has. The sandwich I had was outstanding. This place has a good menu with a very large selection of icecream as well. Great overall experience!!Dine in: Yes
Just there around 5:30 on 2/23. Not the first time to have bad service there. 2 families waiting at ice cream counter. All I wanted was a root beer and a pretzel. 4 people assumingly busy. One red headed girl looked at me 3 times and never acknowledged me standing there. One guy preparing food. One girl comes out from back with 2 blenders. Looks right at me. Says nothing. While ice cream guy finishes up first families ice cream order then proceeded to the next. Still no one or himself acknowledged me that someone would be with me shortly. A manager or owner then shows up. Walks right past me to go behind the counter. Walks to register and does whatever there. Turns to check ovens with other guy preparing food and not saying anything to me. Finally food preparer guy asks me if he can help me. Seeming real thrilled. I politely keep my composure. Telling I would like a large root beer and a pretzel if they had any. Due to not seeing any anywhere. Then told we make everything to order!!! How does a pretzel place have NO pretzels???? Crazy!!!
Perfection of the pretzel menu. The pretzel wraps were done perfectly, the meats were cooked just right inside and the exterior pretzel was not overdone or soggy. The fries were great, and the crab dip pretzel was awesome. Definitely will be having it again sometime and hope to try some of their shakes.
