I hate ever having to go to this location!!!! Nobody is responsible enough to let you know if a lane is closed in the ordering drive thru so people sit and wait without getting to order. I sat in line for 20 mins waiting to pick up a mobile order only for nobody to answer. Mobile order is supposed to save time right??!!! Then after trying to get someone's attention by knocking on the glass of the window in the drive thru to have the employees just look at me. So now we are out of time and can't even get my good that I ordered for my family. This place is useless they employees obviously are horrible I highly recommend never going to this location!!!! If I could give negative star's they would be getting 5
McDonald’sTo all those who venture towards the land known as south Hanover with a hankering for hamburger. This specific palace of patties is truly one of a kind.After coming off a cold, tank running a bit low, I began to crave a burger from what is not my usual spot for food. What started as a mere craving turned into one of the single greatest fast food experiences at McDonald’s I could’ve ever asked for.I placed my mobile app order and entered the drive through line. When I reached the speaker my order was confirmed and then | I was asked if I would “like to change anything.” | this was huge because during my order placement I forgot to take of some ingredients that don’t sit well with my pallet. Would’ve really ruined the night for the young man.After making the necessary changes, courtesy of the young lady behind the speaker, I picked up my order from a thorough yet not overbearing young man who made sure I had everything I needed.I ordered a quarter pounder meal but as I drove away I was looking for my chicken sandwich because I could’ve sworn I just left a Chick-fil-A drive through. Great stuff south Hanover McDonald’s. Pure Class.
Waited over 20 minutes for an app order and when it came out, was missing half the meal.5/8 update: well, we tried again to grab some bagels for Mothers day breakfast. What a mistake. It took 40 minutes to get an order we did through the app. I even got a message that it was delivered but noone ever came to our car, i went in and waited inside for 20 minutes. Yes, they were busy and yes, likely short staffed, but they just didn't have it together. Multiple people,inside had been waiting 30 minutes plus and others than came in and ordered after us were getring their food first.
This morning they were quick and really nice. I will probably go tomorrow
Went in the drive thu at 9:50 PM and was told you were closed with a line of cars in the drive thru.
I don't go here too often but one time I ordered a double quarter with cheese and it was raw. the customer service is alright, the drive thru is pretty speedy. Wished they would've taken the time to cook my burger, the fries and shakes were good though.
We went around 8pm, simple order, no special requests. They forgot 2 items, food was Luke warm. Fries and nuggets were obviously sitting around for a bit. I know it’s “fast food” but can we at least get everything we pay for. Also the lobby was closed so we had to go through the drive through twice to get our stuff. Not surprises, but disappointed
JDCS maintains all three Hanover locations, yet the Baltimore street location specifically is abysmal. Lately, they are closed before 8pm more often than they are actually open until their stated closing time of 10pm. It would be more customer friendly to simply update your hours to admit that you can't even staff successfully enough to keep from closing over two hours before close 4 of 7 days each week. Customers should not have to show up well before closing only to sit at the drive thru speaker and either be ignored completely or told you're closed. You should admit your failures and change your hours to close at 8pm. Stop wasting customer's time.
As far as McDonald's go, I think this is the best one in Hanover. Their drive thru line is routinely quick, and the people they have taking the orders at the drive thru are ALWAYS so nice!
This is NOT extra cheese. The fries are raw. I ordered regular coke, not diet. Also ordered 2 double cheeseburgers that were greasy, cold and the buns would make better hockey pucks. Never again.
