The food here is OUTSTANDING! It is fresh, the flavors were awesome, it was well portioned and presentation was clean and yummy! My husband got the ribeye and I got the salmon sliders. The owner was in, the evening we came in and they was extremely kind and wonderful talking to. They also have a awesome party space upstairs for special parties/occasions!It’s so wonderful to have a nice place like this in Hanover now. I truly am looking forward going back to this place!

What a gem. First visit, and were impressed with the classy atmosphere with friendly welcome. The menu is small, but even so, hard to select a favorite. Being small means everything is perfectly prepared and fresh. Loved the staff, meal, and owner Andrew.

We enjoyed a terrific Sunday brunch on Mother’s Day. It was our first visit, and it will not be our last. We were a party of 5. The location, history, and decor added a lot to our experience. We were seated promptly and had great service. The Bloody Mary’s are fabulous, and we all enjoyed our meals. The French toast with sliced bananas, strawberries, and blueberries was divine. The syrup was warm and the side of crispy bacon was the perfect complement. Our daughter loved it. The McAllister Salad was my personal favorite. It was fresh and light with bacon, chicken, hard boiled eggs and Swiss cheese. It came with a sweet pickle and a unique dressing that I would love be able to make at home. It’s really nice to have such a classy restaurant in Hanover. It’s good for special events, but also comfortable for fun happy hours. Loved it!

I absolutely love this place. The ambiance,, decor and design makes it an upscale place in Hanover to dine or unwind for drinks at the bar. The food is articulately plated which makes it all the more exciting to consume. I have been pretty much a regular there and have tried to eat almost all the different items on the menu. I have loved every dish ordered and have no complaints. Including desserts. Love the specialty drinks. Highly recommend .

Enjoyed the service a lot. We had the calamari for our appetizer and it was delicious. Our favorites were the Grilled philly steak sandwich that had a chipotle Mayo that was very tasty and the burger which was very juicy which is not easy to get when ordering burgers. We also had the coconut cake that was fantastic. My sister ordered it and I was not expecting to like it since most coconut cakes are overly sweet and dry. This one was amazing and ended up being my favorite part of the meal. The service is also great and our host/waiter was delightful. We just moved back to Pennsylvania but have never lived in this area before so it has been a fun surprise at how amazing the food has been in the area. A bonus is how they source local and have gluten and vegan dishes marked on the menu clearly. Definitely recommend. Prices were very fair . For drinks, shared appetizer, two entrees, and dessert we paid around $75. Very enjoyable and the restaurant was very beautiful with outdoor seating and large bar.

Amazing Girl's Night! McAllister's is a fantastic place for a girl's night celebration--the atmosphere is so creative and chic! The food was amazing & so beautifully presented...And the drinks...delicioso! Highly recommended for your special occasion! Going to try one of their wine dinners real soon too! Can't wait!

Beautiful location, but a big disappointment. We expected a fine dining experience, but our server seemed untrained and unavailable despite there only being two other occupied tables. We had to go to the bar ourselves for a water refill. Our (cold) appetizer took forever to arrive and then was followed less than a minute later by our entrees. Food was not terrible, but absolutely nothing special either. At these prices we expected something far better.

Dinner was subpar, especially for the high price. We ordered the swordfish steak, which was tough and the veggies were dry. We also ordered the lamb chops, which were a bit better but still well below expectation, also with dried veggies. Also we didn't get real menus, you only get a digital menu by scanning a QR code, then using your phone to look at the menu! Additionally, the waiter was a bit strange and in the end asked for a cash tip "because he wants to get paid tonight", very unprofessional. We really wanted to like this place as one of the few fancier places close by, but we were thoroughly disappointed. Maybe we just got very unlucky, but it was quite a let down.

This is a beautiful location. The art and dining room are quite lovely. We had attentive service as well. The food was only so so for the expense. I was there for brunch and really enjoyed the bacon but the eggs were the kind you'd want to put katsup on and I don't even like that. There was a hair in one of our plates. Those things happen but it seemed like a manager could of addressed it. I would not return for brunch but maybe give another go on a different menu.

We went in for brunch today, I’ve been here a few times and things were decent but today was different. Our table was a four top and there were maybe four other tables with people, so it wasn’t busy. Service was fairly slow and little attention to detail. Our bill for my wife and me was $98, that’s for two entrees ($28 a plate) and three drinks total. No one at the table had got vegetables as they were out and didn’t inform us while ordering. Drinks were good, but expensive. One person at our table had a hair in her food, she mentioned it to the server, and was still charged for the meal at full price. The general manger interacted with us a few times as we were picking up our wine club wine, and she seemed to not know how any of that worked, mentioning the owners were in Spain on vacation. My food seemed well prepared other than a poor cut of steak and was more than likely hot at some point in time. You would imagine for not being busy and paying $100 for brunch it would be much better, I wasn’t going to write a review but saw one of the owners left a five star review of his own place and that’s pretty sad, so one star for sure from this experience. I get places have bad days, but letting a review for your own place isn’t cool.
