Amazing crabs!! Good size, always full, reasonably priced
So good everything is a great quality and taste great. They are willing to tweek things to your liking and never dissapoint. The snowballs are really smooth and have the best shaved ice. The malts are amazing! My kids love it there, they enhoy the milkshakes and the variety of flavors. Everyone working seems to be really nice. The parking is easy to access, they have room for a wheelchair. There is a bench to sit but the area around there is well run down. There is also only one bench. But if you dont mind chilling in your car or taking it home its worth it!
The owner, Terry, is wonderful and makes AWESOME steamed crabs. My daughter was visiting from the West Coast and wanted steamed crabs. He came through with flying colors. The crabs were steamed to perfection, full of meat and wonderfully delicious!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
Crabs are great. Good prices and they don't gouge you on the holidays.

I love this place I usually come here for the ice cream. They do a fantastic job and they are affordable.
For 20 years my instincts told me to avoid this place for crabs (don’t know anything about their snowballs). Anyway, in an impulsive and regrettable moment of insanity, we bought 2 dozen steamed crabs from them. The reviews seemed good so I thought maybe it should be okay. These are the crabs I got from The Crab Shack. I know how crabs should look, feel, and taste (grew up in a watermens family and seafood business in Annapolis). I have never in 56 years seen anything like this nor has anyone in my family. Totally inedible. My guess is that they were dead when they cooked them. My grandfather never steamed a crab unless it was kicking hard. Most places now just dump the basket in the steamer and don’t check them. Then the guy wouldn’t give us a full refund because he said, “there were crabs in there you could’ve eaten.” Seriously? How does he know what we are? Look closely if you can stand it. The crabs aren’t eaten. My family and friends are appalled. Horrible customer service.
UPDATE: so the guy only gave us part of our money back stating that “there were crabs there that you could eat”. He also stated that he thought they were from SC and “crabs look different from different places”. Well that is true if it’s a different type of crab. I only know about and eat Blue crabs so I don’t know if another type of crab looks like this inside. But a blue crab is a blue crab. It should not look, taste or feel like these did. And if they do, they shouldn’t
The shaved ice is good. Can’t beat the variety of flavors! Also the Hershey’s ice cream is good! Staff is always friendly. Only downside is it’s sometimes tricky exiting the parking lot due to the busy road
