Don't sleep on a chance to go to Big Mike's. The food was delicious and the staff is friendly. I'd recommend trying the crab cake and scallops meal. Their potatoes are fantastic!
Overpriced, dry crabs that were supposed to have been steamed to order. When i got home, one of the crabs was barely cooked, & appeared to be "twitching". I'll never go there again.
Went with a party of 4 on a Saturday night. The building was a converted house and a bit older. It had a big covered patio in the rear and pretty good amount of seating. The Crabs were fresh and fairly priced and the crab cakes were very good. Service was a little slow but, Saturday night at a Seafood place will get you that. Had a fun time. Not really five star, but the prices were great and the atmoshere was fun. We did find out it was BYOB after we gor there. Had zi known, we would have brought a few beers with us. FYI. Give it a try when in Hanover, PA.
I’ve been out of the area for years so I was craving some crabs. when I came into town to visit a friend, I ordered pickup. Right on time and delicious!
Had my first visit here and it definitely won’t be my last. We ordered steamed shrimp & French fries. The steamed shrimp were seasoned & steamed to perfection. The cocktail sauce had a nice kick to it & the fries were extra crispy. Well done Big Mike’s Crabhouse! I’ll be visiting again in the near future.
We got the turkey club sandwich to split for dinner. It was wonderful. Spotless counter, tables and floors. Friendly helpful staff.
The Food is Totally Amazing. One of my Favs is the Seafood Chili! Friendly Atmosphere and Great Staff. Will continue to go back when I want some Good Seafood at Big Mike's!
Please let me tell you straight up it was the best pull and peel shrimp I've had in years I grew up in Florida but I've always preferred the Maryland styles they nailed it staff was friendly we had to change our order pick-up time they were super accommodating for us can't think of a better place for you to get Seafood
Very amazing food. The indoor eating area is small, but worth the wait.
I went with my girlfriend, she had the cream of crab soup, which was more of a chowder and barely any crab in it. She also got a side of fries which were underdone and really greasy. I on the other hand had the fried haddock sandwich and some hush puppies. Both were over fried and the batter was very hard. I'd say the best thing was the bun of the sandwich, which isn't saying much.
