Food is usually good but c'mon how hard is it to give the right food in a to-go bag? I ordered 3 regular pretzel nuggets to go. Get 3/4 of the way home and stopped bc bags started to fall over. Went to roll bags up and caught a glimpse inside. Here they gave me 1 pretzel nugget and 2 reg size cinnamon sugar pretzels. Seriously, you legit heard me say nuggets because I had to ask how long the wait would be since there was none in the case. They had just come out and I was told no wait and you had enough for 3 easily. So why give me food I didn't order? Now I have a kid who is unhappy with me because they don't like sugar pretzels and they won't get theirs. They are already moody since their dealing with an ear infection and this was the one thing I was hoping would help them feel better. I'm not running back in that's for sure. Thanks for nothing.
Love this subway!!
My pretzel was dark on the bottom and dry. I bought something else so I wasn’t watching what she was putting in the bag. You gotta keep an eye out on everything.
I visited the factory as part of a small tour group. The owner met us outside and explained the history of the business and the process that makes their pretzels so special. Did you ever know that the water makes a huge difference in the dough?? We then toured the small area where 3,000 hand-made pretzels are made daily. Three people were twisting soft pretzels during our visit. After learning about how both the hard and soft pretzels were make, we were treated to a yummy soft pretzel. They have a small retail space where we purchased a bag of hard sour dough pretzels. The business is located on a small street (alley) with only a small faded sign directing you back, but it is worth finding this hidden gem! While you can order their products online, you will only find their products within a 20 mile radius of Hanover.
Still make all their pretzels by hand and they have the best taste I've found! The factory is still as it was when the company originated - it's like a charming step back in time. The people are so personable and friendly - it was a great place to visit! NOTE; A little hard to find as it is down a small alley-worth it tho.
I got a hard pretzel and told the lady and she gave me another hard pretzel ew and I got a small icee and it was only filled up half way wtffffff
Okay so I have worked in Hanover for almost three years and somehow did not even know this place even exsisted. So sitting in traffic with a co-worker he mentioned that it was there and he said I should stop sometime if I liked big soft pretzels. So there certainly was no time like the present. It is on an alley and there is not much parking, but stopping is definately well worth the effort. It is like stepping back in time, you can actually see the pretzels being made and coming out of the oven without being behind glass or plastic. The aroma within the bakery is wonderful, I wish somehow I could have capture it and post it on line.So I got a large hot, fresh out of the oven, soft pretzel and a bottle of water for $2 which ended up being my lunch. They also sell bags of hard pretzels of various styles and favors.I will definately be back!
I ordered a box of extra salt pretzel pieces and a three pack of whole pretzels in a bag. The flavors are not very strong on flavored pretzels. Biggest problem I had is they have a disclaimer when you order about not being responsible for broken pieces but two of the bags were broken worse then big bag of broken pretzels. They pack them in newspaper for shipping which did nothing to protect shipment. I tried to post a review on website but review wasn't approved. Pretzel pieces were good.
What a great place revonah is Hanover spelled backwards. This place is full of great history and has a great lunch special for a bottled water and soft pretzel!!
Pretzels seems to have a better taste here. Come in a enjoy snacks with a special taste. Revonah is no other than Hanover in reverse!
