Every time I go here I tell myself I'll never be back and this time I mean it. We dined here for brunch as a four top, three of the orders were wrong or missing an item, asked for extra napkins three times before we got them, the meals were garbage (regular pancakes were fine - everything else was pure junk, my son's chicken sandwich was inedible and the onion rings were so greasy that oil poured out while taking a bite - purely awful, my over-med eggs were so undercooked they were still slimy and cold, burnt hash browns, another had cinnamon pancakes that had so much cinnamon they couldn't even be finished), and the service was severely lacking. Several times throughout the meal the kitchen staff was walking around the restaurant talking to wait staff to see if they were missing items having full on conversations right beside customer tables, then just hung out a while all covered in griddle grease - you know exactly what you want to stare at while you eat. The staff lacks any kind of professionalism, the food is horrible, and orders were wrong. This place is an absolute joke, we only tried it again to give it another shot - this was the last chance this dump is going to get. You want an at best less than mediocre dining experience, this is the place for you. McDonalds would be better than this place.
This was always my favorite go to. Last time I ask for Blueberry pancakes. They came with a Blueberry sauce and whip cream on them. That's not what I ordered! I asked for my eggs to be over medium. They came back over hard. And the thing was, there were only 2 other people in the whole place, so why couldn't I get what I ordered? Won't be back. :-( at least for a while.
Cold food my husband waited one hour for a carry out order that was supposed to be ready when he got there. He checked the bag. Some of the food was missing so he had to wait. Staff could have cared less and the manager was the one that packed it and that he spoke with.Absolutely ridiculous. . If I could leave zero stars I would. Ruined my mother's day breakfast.
The manager Josh is a really great guy. He corrected a mistake that happened in the past.He went way above the call of duty. The food was wonderful and the sevice was great. I will definitely go back.I just wished there was an IHOP closer to Monessen or Belle Vernon. ???
What an absolutely pitiful experience the place is half empty but there's a wait. Certainly because of the elusive staffing. The manager man, who is not friendly, takes names for a 15 to 20 min wait list. Then he puts coffee, chats with a customer, gatheres menus, talks to staff, talks some more, moves menus, moves more menus, greets (not friendly greeting) arriving customers, goes to kitchen, comes back out, buses a table with a couplenof cups and a plate, back to kitchen, wipes tabke (now there are 4 wmpty tables next to eaxh other (plus ithers throughout)) more customers (he looks like a beaten man).. You get the idea. By the way, all other arriving customers left. All 16 of them. Different groups. We did too. What a shame.Thungs are tough for everyine. A little order and a positive attitude make for a better experience for everybody (including the wait staff that rely on tips). Whats so hard about sitting a party, getting them drinks and ketting them know the kitchen is slow but yiure getting them started. Assuming the kitchen was slow, or at least say that vs we are too disorganized and lack leadership to efficiently run a restaurantWe went to Eat N Park instead. Less staff, more customers, super friendly greeting from the start.Do better IHOP
Pretty good. I don't have much to complain about because they are trying. The staff here works hard to get the food out to people in a timely fashion... with mixed results. I overheard some people in a booth near mine give my waitress a hard time about the wait. While I understand their complaint, I emphasize with the waitress because they have a skeleton crew. If you're not in a hurry, I would still recommend this place because the staff is friendly and the food is good.
Food came out cold. Ordered a breakfast sampler with sausage. It’s like they don’t even care. Took more than 45 min just to get a simple meal. Had to get them to re warm all my food.
Pretty good on snowy morning. Fresh hot coffee. I would not recommend biscuits and gravy. Gravy good. Biscuits not to good . To much flour. Enjoyed atmosphere.
Great selection, good food quality, never disappointed with this place. Spacious seating areas with booths and tables. They've had staffing issues like anywhere else so sometimes service is a little slow, but I always find it worth it. Staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a satisfied dining experience when we were there. Love the crepes.
I have to say we had the best waitress ever! Safari you are amazing! You were the only one we saw handling pretty much everything and you were on your A game! I hope you get a raise or at least a bonus for your work ethic this Saturday. Thank you for truly caring!
