This place was serious greasy-French-fry homophobic grandma vibes. The food was ok, a bit dry, but to be expected for a place like this. I will say the the ground in the parking lot was surprisingly clean and shining!
Got there and found the menu was not as shown on Google—in total there were only 22 items, including appetizers, sandwiches, a few soup selections, and a small handful of entrees. Ordered BBQ brisket and a medium cooked steak with mashed potatoes. Potatoes were watery with awful gravy, steak was rare and the BBQ brisket tasteless. The only redeeming qualities were the super-friendly waitstaff and the beer selection. Would be a good place to just drink and have some tater-tots.
Came from delaware for the fried chicken. Sorry, no chicken, limited menu. What we ordered was very good, service was excellent and beer was cold. What else do you need?
DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. completely inedible. undercooked noodles, canned corn and green beans, dry buns, sawdust-like cake, watery soda, and dry under-cooked chicken. i only gave it one star because the food filled you up. do better pike. ??
Nice place to stop and relax . Out side dining with cold drinks. Less than a mile outside all Gettysburg has to offer .
I have been a customer of The Pike Restaurant & Tap House for about the last 12 years. There are different types of seating - they have a traditional dining room as well seating in two different bar areas and outdoor seating at times of the year. The food I order pretty much every time I visit is the nachos - it's an incredible amount of food and they're good. They do get busy at times though the employees there keep people served and happy.
We stay at the hotel next to the restaurant several times a year. We can walk over for a meal. The food is always good. On our lest trip we had a waitress, a young lady with red hair, who was very pleasant and did a great job. You can eat at the bar or in the dining room. The food is always good, especially the soup.
Thought we would give this a try since it seemed to be popular with the locals, but after eating there, we are not sure why it is so busy other than there is a bar and pool table in the lounge. They allow smoking inside and the fish & chips was awful to the point of being inedible. There are lots of great places to eat in Gettysburg, so don't waste your time & money here.
The pike years ago had AMAZING FOOD went there tonight and yuk ! Worst 80 wasted
It’s kinda scary looking, and the food looked and tasted bad. It’s fine for dinks, and the bar staff are friendly.
