Gettysburg is not know for lots of fine dining, being such a tourist attraction. This place was one of several, suggested by a friend who grew up here. We were somewhat relegated to eating here as the other choice could not seat us until too late in the evening. They did have specials and a menu that covers the bases. An oddity is that they do not have a liquor license but they adjoin a bar. The server takes your order and you must go retrieve the drinks yourself. They cannot serve them. You also have a seperate tab for the drinks. it took a bit longer to get our food than we felt it should, considering the numbner of people there. We would not go back. One positive was the prices are reasonable. I had the Maryland crab soup and perhaps I had a different expecation of what it would be. It was vegetable soup with some crab in it. i was anticipting something creamer so perhaps, I was wrong. The shrimp were slightly overdone and very challenging to peel.

Pros: The food was very good. I enjoyed the Maryland crab soup very much. The burger was flavorful and juicy. My husband’s fish and chips were very tasty and such a big portion that he could not finish it. Cons: There was only one cook so service was slow. Drinks were not refilled punctually Overall the meal was good and we will likely return when we are back in town.

Great food and great service. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful food and service. Jeff, the owner, Sue and Austin our servers enhanced a very nice experience. They addressed issues from review’s which made us believe they truly care about what their clientele wants. We dined there twice. The lamb was perfectly cooked. The dips were addictive. The wine was very nice and a great bargain. A definite must when in Gettysburg

The worst restaurant in Gettysburg Pa., or the worst in Pennsylvania. Went for lunch today, I am disabled,, it was across from tourist bureau. Easy parking and easy, access. I ordered the lunch specials, Maryland crab soup, and Maryland crab egg roll. My Son ordered the Wagyu Cheese steak, with fries. The restaurant was not busy, We were patient, aware of staff shortages, after 20 min my soup shows up, I guess the “CHEF” could not read English. The can had a M on it, so I got a lukewarm bowl of Minestrone soup, topped with lots of pepper, uneditable.$8.00, After Anth other 20 min. My frozen crab egg rolls showed up cut on diagonal, topped with pepper$10.00 all uneditable. Sons Wagyu cheese steak 15.oo , he just eat the insides, as it was stale toasted bread, soggy, pickle, fries, skipped the pepper, but full of salt. I eat the salted fries, because I was really hungry at this point. When the Waitress finally showed up, I told her about the food, said she would tell “CHEF”. Came back said she told the “CHEF”. Gave us full bill. We just left.

The food was good and delicious. Little bit pricey but worth it. The staff are kind and attentive. I will highly recommend this restaurant.

wow! great neighborhood gem! crab cake was solid crab! clams were excellent- clean & fresh, calamari was exceptional. Steak was very good. even the salad that was served as part of meal was above usual. excellent house dressing . Small menu done very well. friendly professional service. was able to dine outside with my dog. Definitely will be back.

ABSOLUTELY NEVER GO HERE. this place is owned by nasty disgusting ignorant people!!! It reeks like garbage so bad you won’t even want to eat here. The owner is the most ignorant person you’ll ever meet. I will continue to spread the word. DONT GO HERE EVERYONE!!!!!

Ny strip was like shoe leather. Husband’s hamburger ordered medium and was raw. They weren’t busy. Best was my cocktail.

Pleasantly surprised by this little gem. We visited during the Gettysburg Brass Band weekend and we very pleased with our service and experience. We were greeted warmly and although we had a large party, we decided to split up in the bar area to be able to do separate checks. The food was excellent and the drinks were tasty. The owner/chef came out and spoke with our party. The fried avocado appetizer was great. The duck breast & goat cheese flatbread was delicious. My wife got the house special fish & chips. She was very pleased and she is a picky eater. We will definitely come back and let our friends/family know about this pace.
