I must say I expected a bar with fresh drinks made. Limited menu, I ordered the mushroom soup didn't come with crackers or bread. To be honest this just wasn't my kind of restaurant. I like servers, didn't like going to the cashier to order food nor do I like my drinks in a can. The best part for me and my family was the owner, he truly makes the restaurant and he was the best part of my experience there.
The outside is just a warehouse, interior is amazing, all food is cooked perfectly and is sourced from adams county. I would definitely come back again.
The cocktails and food were unique and delicious. The goat cheese brulee was incredible. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Dining out with our 7 month old was so enjoyable at Mason Dixon.
We stopped for the frog legs but wanted to make a meal out of them. We started with the spring salad it was so yummy! Then added the frog legs, french fries & brussel sprouts. Everything was delicious!
Came here after visiting Gettysburg. It was nice they actually have plenty of parking! We sat down right away. At this place, you get seated than walk up to the counter whenever you're ready to order, give them your order and table number and they will bring it out to you. All of the staff are very helpful and seem to enjoy their job. I tried a flight to sample different liquors. The lavender lemonade was my favorite, I see why many reviews mention it! Also tried their rotunda sour beer, was delicious. My husband had a burger with a ton of meat on it and devoured it! I had the steak tips special and it blew me away! Would highly recomend this place, they know their food and their alcohol!
After spending a few days in Gettysburg, we stopped in to the Mason Dixon Distillery for lunch with four adults and a toddler. We came in just as they opened and were greeted warmly and told a little bit about the restaurant and their food and spirits. After sitting down, the owner also came out and made some recommendations for food and drink. The four of us got flights and loved each of the liquors - I loved that I could get the flight sampling the signature cocktails! They were each delicious. We took the owners recommendation and got the tacos and the hot chicken sandwich. The tacos were delicious, with tender meat and just the right amount of toppings and sauce. The sandwich I’m told was fantastic. We all ended up partaking in a cocktail in addition to our flights and found them portioned well for the cost with a fantastic flavor. We all purchased beverages for home.After enjoying some more historic eats, this was a fun change of pace that blew us away with the flavor, hospitality, and value. I will be sad when our home cocktails run out!
We just finally made our way back to Mason Dixon Distillery after our last stop in 2020 days before everything came to a halt. They were essentially our first takeout meal of the pandemic, and for more than two years my husband couldn't stop talking about the dish he had. We had takeout again this stop and now he can't stop talking about the shrimp and grits. I even overheard him telling all his coworkers about it in a virtual staff meeting. The food is spectacular. I tell everyone to go here, and I wished we lived closer. We picked up a variety of canned cocktails and they've all been amazingly good. I will definitely be ordering more. Congrats to the owner and staff for their innovation and navigation of the past two years. Can't wait to stop again.
