I love eating at the Dobbin House! Delicious food, happy times, and the greatest Bloody Marys ever.

the food is always outstanding. their home made blue cheese dressing is the best anywhere! the French onion soup is hands down the best in the area. staff is always very pleasant and accommodating. I absolutely love the atmosphere.

We visit the Dobbin House Tavern each time we visit Gettysburg. This trip we've been there twice already. We love the atmosphere, the food and the service. Their staff is amazing.
We’ve been going to the Dobbin House for years. Always enjoyed it until last night. Service was horrible, took forever to get waited on. Waitress was rude and bossy. Never checked on us. Won’t go back.
My hubs and I stayed here in 2019, in the Meade suite. This time we booked Aunt Hollys suite. Luckily for us we arrived early and asked to check it out, I was worried about the stairs as I am not as agile as I used to be. They were able to move us to the Meade Suite with no problems, and I was very pleased. The room was as lovely as I remembered, and as the weather was beautiful, we were able to enjoy the porch and rockers . Parking in front is nice too! Our room was nice and cozy, super clean, and a small kitchen with all the things we needed and a snack basket too. We had lunch downtown, but got carry out desserts in the evening, they were wonderful. Breakfast was as usual wonderful as well!
