Excellent truffled mushroom pizza. The side salads were very good too. I especially liked the white balsamic vinaigrette.
A very nice atmosphere. The food is wonderful. Stopped in over the weekend and had The Summer Burger from the specials menu, as well as the fried brussel sprouts. Everything was great!
The apple butter chicken sandwich is amazing! Love their sweet n spicy cauliflower wings and the Brussels sprouts. I’ve never had a bad experience and would highly recommend to anyone in the area! Blown away with how great everything was.
We had the cucumber salad with chicken, the turkey and cheese melt, the truffle parmesan fries and cauliflower 101. All items were fresh and delicious. Our favorite was the cauliflower 101. The reason we rated this restaurant a four was the service. We waited an hour for our food when others were walking in, ordering takeout and getting served quickly. We watched other sit down customers leave after 15 minutes. Once we got our food, we weren't asked if we would like to have our drinks refilled. It's a small restaurant and the ownership might want to decide if they are committed to sit down dining or takeout. It didn't appear that the restaurant could handle both options.
My wife and I had a salad and pizza for dinner. Food was good and pricing was more than fair. Service was OK (service needed to loosen up a little). But overall would recommend and I would go back again.
A quirky, fun small restaurant with great food. My wife and I enjoyed dinner here after strolling around downtown Gettysburg deciding on where to eat and stopped here almost on a whim. We were greeted cheerfully upon entering and given our choice of available tables. Waitstaff stopped by after a few minutes with menus and returned promptly for our order.Restaurant decor is funky retro, including our chrome and boomerang design table. We wanted vegetarian options. My wife ordered a vegetable powerhouse sandwich and I ordered the Nicoise salad. The wait was slightly long, it seemed, but we were not disappointed when it arrived. Portions were generous. Her sandwich was huge and included a large side of house made chips. My salad was absolutely fresh, beautifully plated and delicious. Each component of this classic dinner salad was perfect.We will certainly return to this restaurant on our next trip to Gettysburg.
We showed up to Food 101 unannounced with a party of 12. We were immediately seated and promptly served. Food came out very quickly considering our party size. The two waiters who served us - Taylor and Nate - were both amazing and attentive. Give those men a raise! Food and atmosphere were both beyond expectation
I would rate this place lower than one star if possible. Service was horrid. Waiter said maybe 20 words to us the entire time. Limited menu. Club sandwich was cold and tasteless despite 6-7 ingredients. The burger was half way cooked. I love most any kind of pizza but the sausage and brocollini was inedible. The highlight of the experience was when we left. Don’t know how much they are paying for these other 5 star reviews but don’t waste your time.
The food was delicious and the desserts are fresh baked. I think my salad was the best salad I've ever had. It was the orange blueberry salad. Don't miss this place
