This place was delicious! Fast service and really good portions. Nice clean environment and close to downtown Gettysburg. #gettysburg #Breakfast #Dunlaps #pennsylvania
Dinner was very good. Pleasant atmosphere and very friendly staff. Short wait as they were understaffed. Apologized but was no problem.
We stopped to eat lunch, we ordered the roast beef and pot roast it was amazing. We had been running around going to antique shops and decided to stop for a late lunch. We were very happy with our food, our service and the atmosphere. We were full and didn't order dessert but they all sounded very good. We will stop back there when in Gettysburg.
A great place to eat, at a reasonable price. The experience in the restaurant depends on the waiters.it can be awesome or can be horrible. I've experienced both in the last 5 times I was there.when you have a good waiter you will have fast service, good drinks, warm food. Just awesome! If you have a not-so-good one (which lately I experience a lot), your drinks won't come one time or not at all, food will be waiting in the kitchen and will serve to you cold.I hope you guys will have a great experience!
Had the Creamed Dried Beef on Toast. It was very good and creamy! I highly recommend this restaurant. Very friendly server and hostess!
I've gone to almost every restaurant and Gettysburg and I can say that this is the first time that I've actually gone to dunlap's and I was extremely pleasantly surprised. The ambiance was really great the service was excellent and the food was really good. I had the egg white veggie omelette and it was probably the best that I've ever had. Most of our family just got standard diner food but all of it was very good. Highly recommend this as a good diner food and a great location.
This place serves excellent food with a smile. Good portions of down home cooking. If I'm ever in Gettysburg again, I will definitely stop by and eat at Dunlap's.
Since it was right across the parking lot from our hotel and came highly recommended, we tried it! It was a great local eatery!!
I really wanted to like it. Honestly though it was probably the worst breakfast I have had in a long time. The coffee was terrible. The breakfast bowl was terrible and cold. The toast was hard and cold after I had to ask for it again. The corned beef was about 4 pieces of canned meat on barely toasted bread. The French toast didn't even partly melt the butter. Lastly the gravy was a little thicker than water and looked like my Grandmother's wallpaper paste.
We arrived as a group of 7 a little after 7. We were immediately sat down and drink orders were taken. My cousin and I had have not seen each other in over a decade and I had never met his young family, so we were a distracted group and disorganized. The young lady (a blonde girl) was wonderful and took care of us exceptionally well. Not a complaint from any of us about the food. My steak was wonderful, best meal of our week long trip. It eventually became obvious that we were keeping them open and ended our evening. We will definitely eat here again if in town.
