Great wait staff! Had breakfast buffet, which was tasty.
This is a very nice place. That being said, our experience was not as good as we would have liked. I made a reservation a week ahead of time. When we got there, there was no reservation. Fortunately they were able to seat us. I believe there was a large group in another area. We were told the kitchen was a little backed up. Understandable. We both ordered the steak cooked the same way. Unfortunately we got our steaks cooked completely different. I would go back perhaps at a quieter time.
I recently dined here because I was meeting family gathering to ski at Liberty. We got in late Friday night and this place was close so we ate there. My flatbread was cold and rubbery, but they happily provided me with a warmer version upon request. My brother-in-law asked for a plain hamburger that they put cheese on and he cannot do this for religious reasons. The drinks are good and the bartender was warm and friendly. The food is just average and this should improve.
Great restaurant…friendly staff
Years ago this was the the place to go for a romantic dinner or a special occasion. The price reflected the quality and it was special. It was worth every penny. Emphasis on was. We made reservations in advance for Valentines. We waited in the lounge which is very nice and you are able to have food in there. Same menu as the dining room. It s cozy and dark. The bar is well stocked . As for the dining room, Its more like a lower rated hotels breakfast room. The menu now is very limited. This could be because of covid but just four entrees besides sandwiches, was a shame. The steak was good excellent but $38 was excessive in an environment that just doesn’t support the price. The $30 Pork Porterhouse was so dry my date didn’t even eat more than a few bites. Maybe it was so dry because it took a full hour to get our meal. Granted there was a total of 4 other tables. We told the waitress how it was inedible (very nicely btw). She did offer another but we did not want another prepared as the first one took an hour. She felt bad so she comped a slice of cheesecake to our bill. There are too many other choices in this town. I do hear the breakfast is good.
The worst food I’ve had. There was hair in all of the food. The server never came back. It was not worth the money
The food here is outstanding. We went for the Thanksgiving Buffet. It did not disappoint.
Ate there as a single on a Friday night. It was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Too bad somebody didnt yell at the man in the corner table to take off his hat during dinner. December is very slow in the town and it was indicative of the restaurant. One waitress but that was fine given the census and the hostess helped out too, but gosh it was unpaced and too slow. From salad to salmon should not take 20 minutes. Then getting the check took forever. The kitchen may have more t odo with this than the waitress, who looked like she was trying her best. One tip to the kitchen: DONT cook the salmon to a dried out lump of fish. Cook it to medium rare to medium. Mine came out dry as a bone. I think this place will get better when businss picks up, covid is behind us, and people and staff come out.
