Our first visit was amazing! We chose to eat inside at table as not crowded. Love the ambiance of restored barn. Great menu - our food was delicious and prices so good. Our server, "Sam", so friendly and efficient. Will go back soon!!!
Love the outside dining and extensive beer menu. Was trying to keep my expense low, so no alcohol this time, and was a little surprised that it cost $4 to add chicken to my Cesar Salad. Mac n cheese was really rich. Small side cup was about $5.
This is good spot that has so much potential to be great. Their major downfall is what plagues many restaurants today and that is staff. We visited on a Saturday late afternoon with 2 dogs and a toddler so we sat outside. Our waiter was a chicken with his head cut off, the entire time. I can only speak for outside but it seemed like he had 1/3 of the tables which werealmost all full. Running with drinks and trying to get food out timely was tough to watch at times. That being said he did a great job as did the others. The food was very good and cocktails well made. The main sell is beer and that's where they truly deliver but that is too be expected. This is a great spot to hang with friends but please have patience with your wait staff as they are doing the best they can with the tools they are given.
Third time here and probably the last. Menu is average at best, however they do have a large beer list. This could be an issue with so many taps as my 9 dollar IPA was old and sour. Bartender states they taste them periodically but maybe they don't know proper IPA flavor, they didn't offer a taster or anything. Steak ordered medium came out well done. Server(s) could have been more attentive, there were enough of them.
World of Beer is a top favorite among my family and I! We always come here for trivia and always very much enjoy their food and drinks that they have to offer. They have the best Bavarian pretzel and the best beer cheese dip I've had anywhere, and I always enjoy their espresso martini. I would highly recommend World of Beer to anyone looking to have a good time with friends or family while enjoying some good food and drinks!!
I work deliveries weekends and I just lost an hour of time and to put my business out there; $50 worth of orders. One person canceled because it took so long, the 2nd order I canceled myself because it just wasn't happening with them tonight. No one is paying attention to takeout, and if they are, no one is relaying any information to the customers.I know you're busy, I've worked at and managed restaurants. It looks like a great restaurant and smells awesome, I recommended it to my girlfriend after my first delivery from here. I know you guys probably pull in 10-20k (or more?) on nights like tonight. I know me losing $50 and you missing out on $100 of food is nothing to you. But that's the problem.
Waitress was phenomenal even while it was super busy. Food was delicious. I'm not big on alcoholic beverages either, I can never find more than one or two on a menu that I like, but their cocktails taste amazing. I can't wait to go back.
World of Worst service you will ever experience. Came in on a not very busy Sunday between lunch and dinner. Asked if there was a hostess and told there wasn’t sit anywhere. We take a seat. 5 minutes go by. Not even acknowledged by anyone. Another table sits down next to us. They are immediately greeted by a server. 10 minutes go by. Another table gets their check. I asked for a server to be sent over. 15 minutes. Still no one. Servers are constantly taking care of tables all around us. It was like I was invisible. At 20 minutes I was hangry. I got up and went to the bartender and asked to speak to the manger. Bartender comes back and says he can’t find manager. He will call her. After another minute she appears. I tell her I am walking out and why. She doesn’t care and offers nothing to try and keep me as a customer. Never going back here. Lost a customer for life which a shame because my wife and I had been here 3 times prior and the service was good.
This is my 2nd time here. The last time was YEARS ago and we sat outside without kids. Being Feb and cold, we sat inside. It is MUCH smaller than I thought it would be and therefore more crowded. No much room or tables for groups of 6 or more. With so many beers, you for sure find something you like. The food was very good. Tacos, burger, French dip, cali bowl, and apps were had. Serving sizes not very large, but adequate. 5 Mac n cheese bites were not adequate though. The mens room was disgusting. Unsure if the river of liquid on the floor was urine or water, but it needs serious attention.
Since I posted the below, the establishment has reached out to me and resolved the issue in an amicable manner. Jason, the Manager at WOB was very helpful to ensure that I was credited back the duplicate charge.**************************************************************************I have been to the WOB Exton twice and to tell you frankly, have had a pretty decent experience with the food and beverage selection both times. What I have had a problem with, is their servers and service. The first time I went there I was charged twice - one for the raw check and then also for what I had paid (check plus tips). I only saw that after a few days on my card statement. I called them and was told that the manager would call me and fix the - no one did. When I went there a second time, I contacted the manager, one of the rudest people I have met in the hospitality industry. She was condescending and maybe a bit racial as she said she could not understand my accent. Anyhow after a few minutes later I (think) I was able to explain my situation. She took down my details and said she would look into it. A week has gone by and I still haven't heard from her or seen a credit. Needless to say there isn't going to be a third time :)
