This place is absolutely disgusting. I literally don't know how the health department hasn't shut it down. First they delivered us they're table chips and salsa. The salsa was so hot you couldn't even eat it. And I LOVE spicy foods. Then we order queso and guacomole. They gave us tostitos queso from a jar and the guac was just smashed avocado on a tea plate. No onions tomatoes cilantro nothing. Absolutely no flavor at all. So we complained to the waitress who told us we needed to order the table fresh guacomole for that, so we did. It came and it was completely rancid. I'm talking inedible if we had kept eating it it would have made us sick. Something in it had definitely gone bad. We then ordered tacos and burritos. The tacos were left under the heat lamp for so long that the soft tortillas were hard, the meat was so dry you couldn't swallow it and the beans were completely dried out and you could taste the metal from the can. It looked like dog food. The rice was so undercooked you couldn't eat it and the guacomole was brown. Now I know avocado browns easily, this wasn't that. My tacos had crispy fried onions on it and they tasted like the onions you put on a green bean casserole from a can. Definitely not fresh. My husband who eats everything turned to me and said there's something wrong with this sauce on this burrito. We kept our plates full and left. I was completely disgusted. The waitresses were extremely nice but you could tell they knew the food was gross. This place needs to be shut down. Someone is bound to get sick.
Called to place for a To-Go order and specifically told the person who took my order to make sure both burritos had cheese and pico AS MENTIONED IN THE MENU DESCRIPTION and she said of course it’ll be in there. I had told her that the last TWO times we never had pico or cheese inside the burrito and she assured me that these will. LOW AND BEHOLD THEY DONT! Don’t advertise something that’s included in your menu item if you refuse THREE times not to include it!!!!!! So disappointed with this location and WILL not be going back!!!! Worst service as well!
We have always enjoyed going here but our experience last night has changed that opinion. I don't know if the management changed or what but the older lady at the front who is supposed to be welcoming and seating people was polar opposite to that. She was rude, giving off racist vibes and just uninterested in seating anyone of color. She rolled her eyes right at the get go of us walking up to ask to be seated and couldn't stop being condescending. She was talking to us like we don't speak English. We didn't feel welcome at all and left the restaurant feeling meh.
They have a brand new menu and its great had hard time making a choice. Good job guys.
After a long absence, revisited them recently. Host and Bartender fun and friendly - drinks are tasty and generous - food is exactly what you would expect. Good experience!
Had the best lunch with my husband...for starters the restaurant is gorgeous...we sat at a booth in the bar area and our bartender/server Kyle was AWESOME! The pineapple margarita was fabulous?and the mexican street corn is very yummy! ?
Great customer service. Good quantity. Lighting was a bit dim we thought but you get used to it. They have a separate vegetarian menu too!
I really wish I’d ordered from someplace else! I got chicken tortilla soup, which I really had a taste for…it was incredibly salty but the rice was extremely bland. I also had a chille relleno, which I didn’t eat because it was completely soggy. The basic taco had no seasoning and the fish taco was okay. I was really looking forward to this meal and I was extremely disappointed. I will be ordering from Plaza Azteca next time ?
We had a party of 7 we were seated with in 15 min. Nice place to sit for the weighted. The food was great the drinks with dinner was so festive. And after we sang happy birthday to the birthday girl. A little boy came from the next table and wish her a happy birthday the hole table erupted in a big laugh.Yes I would say this is a great place if your having a family dimmer or an adult party.
From Arizona and wanted some good Mexican food... unfortunately, I will never know. Started to get hesitant when I was walking up to the entrance and couldn't see inside. Once through the door I saw all the lights were a dark red like one might find in a *candy shop*. This was likely to help disguise the lack of hygiene in the place. Sat down to sticky tables with food on them by the waitress. Told her we need a minute, got up and left as soon as she walked away. If the tables aren't properly cleaned, who knows how bad the kitchen is. Bar rescue popped into my head along with Gordon Ramsey saying I would get violently ill if I tried to eat anything here. So needless to say it is a no go for me... EVER!
