Delicious food and big portions! Friendly staff. We ate outside so it was slower and chilly but that's ok
Pros: Everyone in my party loved the wings.Cons: I got the "Smoked Chicken" sandwich. I could be wrong, but I think it was actually baked chicken coated with liquid smoke. There was no nice red coloring that smoking always adds. It tasted ok and was tender, but I was a little disappointed.Overall, I'd say this is a fine place for wings and drinks, and the prices were ok, but there are other places in the area I prefer.
A hidden gem!!! Might I suggest the roast beef?! It is on point and the au jus I can drink like a fine broth. My new go to!! Gonna work my way down the menu.Update, 3/25/22: the brisket burger is the of the hook delicious! The French onion soup, is in my top 3 if all time. Cheese steak was pretty good for a restaurant. I am strictly a Phillips steak guy, so can't trust me there. The Bavarian pretzel and the scratch mustard sauces are unbelievably fantastic!Update, 4/15/22: the shaved pork sandwich and the chicken Parm sandwich do not have to be ordered. Both; you only taste the Parm cheese. The pork had zero taste. Zero. The chicken Parm did not have enough sauce to make good. Still 2-1.
After my daughter's hockey tournament, my family and I stopped for a late lunch before starting our 5-1/2 hour car ride home. We were greeted immediately and within 15 minutes our meals were sitting in front of us. The portions were more than generous. I'm a big eater and couldn't finish the roast beef and fries smothered in gravy.The owner, (I think he was the owner) talked with us and made us feel at home. At the risk of embarrassing him, all I can say is thank you! Your generosity, or that of another patron, was greatly appreciated. If we ever get back your way, we will certainly visit again.
Went for my birthday and i was disappointed with the food. I ordered a brisket burger which is supposed to come with a bbq sauce, cheddar cheese and onion straws. It came out dry with lettuce and tomato. Also, we ordered nachos and they were dry as well. We were going to order a dessert drink, but when we were going to order they brought our check so we didn't have the chance. Huge disappointment considering there was only 1 other table that was eating.
Food and service was incredible! Will definitely be back!

My wife and I had been wanting to try the Marchwood Tavern. We finally did.I got the Breakfast Burger. Great burger! Big and really good, and very good amount of fries.My wife got the Marchwood Chicken sandwich. Also very good.We both noted that we will be going back on a regular basis.
What a horrible experience. My Mother passed away on Christmas Day. We were looking for a place to host a lunchon after her funeral. I called in the morning and spoke to Stephanie who said she was just about to open and she would call me back. I waited for a bit over 4 hours and then called back again. Stephanie again answered and I was told yet again she was to busy to speak to me. I tried to explain the urgency and she did not care nor would make the time. So as you can see the Owner apologized and asked me to contact then. I did and they did not respond back. So they just post like they care and still do nothing.
