Customer Service: -1/5Food: 2/5TLDR: Poor customer service from the owner, BBQ meat quality is lacking. For $1 more you can get a better meat combo platter at a much nicer location less than 10minutes away. You know the place.My first experience here was them probably them having a bad day, but it is enough for me to never go back, and recommend friends/coworkers against going here as well.The front of the house waitress was new, her first day, so she was understandably inexperienced. I am more than willing to be patient with her. When I came in to pickup my to-go order, there was 1 dine-in couple at a table, and I overheard a conversation between the waitress and the owner (Zoo). The waitress accidently gave the dine-in patron a extra side choice with his sandwich order. Zoo let her know the sandwich orders only come with 1 side (hey, first day, she won't make that mistake again). But to have her charge their bill extra for that additional side... that they thought was included? I'm sorry, but if your front of house makes that mistake on their first sandwich order, on their first day; you EAT THAT LOSS, of what... 50cents in potatoes? They probably weren't even told their bill was increased.MY OWN ORDER, after I got home, was missing two sides. THAT I DID PAY FOR. The BBQ meat I did get tasted like it was flavored with liquid smoke, and was dried out.Do yourself a favor, go down the street to W Lake Road, less than 10 minutes away. Look for a sign that has a Dog on it and where you can SEE AND SMELL the BBQ smoke. Go inside, and pay $1 more for a much tastier meat combo platter. You're welcome.
I stopped in for lunch with some friends. Had amazing cheesy potatoes, cornbread and some of the best pulled pork I’ve ever had!!! Service was great and the prices are great as well!!! I think I’m going again tomorrow for lunch!!!
just brought the family to Zoos for my mom's Birthday. I can not say enough.. the food and service were amazing!!!
I'm not usually a fan of bbq but my husband talked me into stopping in for lunch finally. I had the Rodeo Burger which was amazing. The burger itself was above average in size & flavor. And just a drizzle of a mild BBQ sauce so not messy to eat. Husband was just as pleased with the quality of his brisket sandwich. And can't say enough about the customer service. They nailed it all around! Great for Erie!
Absolutely amazing food. Friendly staff!!. Very delicious!! Highly recommended trying it out ???. The Pulled Pork and the Brisket is what I ordered.. and omg.. it heavenly delicious!!
Great, locally-owned BBQ place, now serving breakfast too. Picnic tables available outdoors in warmer months. Food cooked to order, with a set menu and specials too. The brisket is a favorite!
Worst barbecue I ever had.. they reheated brisket that was days old. Dry and brown. Mac and cheese smells sour. I took 2 bites and got a refund . Then went to federal hill. I was extremely upset. The lady working was very rude about selling me very old food .
