Great Greek dogs and fries! Good perch and chips. The rum runners were okay, mostly ice. Since it wasn't that hot today, we drank up all the alcohol and had a lot of ice left. They tasted okay though.
The name speaks for itself!! Best place to get a frozen rum runner!! We had some appetizers, which were good (pretzels and mozzarella sticks) . The menu is kind of limited, but I didn't go there for the food. The outdoor seating area is very nice at the Bayfront. And you may even be entertained by The Scallywag pirate ship if you're lucky! Great place to meet up with friends!
I love the rum runners here. The staff couldn't be friendlier and our service was the peak of excellence. I definitely will be returning here every time I'm in the area!
Great location right on Presque Isle bay. Views at sundown are great. Clientele is a mixture, standard pricing for drinks. The only drawback is the parking. Good luck finding a spot. Several other bars are nearby if you like to move around.
We went to lunch here with our extended family (6 adults in total). The bottom line is that you go here to be close to the water, not the Food. Our server was good, but the food was mediocre at best. Everything at our table was served on a massive bed of cold/soggy fries that appeared gray and squished...as if to provide some 'value' for the prices. I had the Cod Dice which was cubed and fried pieces of fish. The fish was hot and tasted ok, but it was not seasoned. The tartar sauce was not bad, but nothing incredible. My husband and cousin both had the Philly Sandwich and it wasn't very good...liquid Velveeta cheese on the bottom bun (not Swiss as advertised) kinda ruined it. Cousin's wife had grilled Portobello sandwich and the Portobello was very small in proportion to the bun, so it was more of a bun sandwich with a little bit of black mushroom. Aunt & Uncle got the Perch (one sandwich, and one had the pieces). I didn't ask them how they liked it, but they left a bit behind. I would not go back.
Was here 2 days in a row during my presque isle vacation. The atmosphere is awesome. Barmaids friendly and helpful. Food was tasty. Would go back.
First time to this place. It was really nice. They do need more waitresses. The food was okay. The atmosphere was good. Loved it will be back
Mother's day at Rum Runners fun stop for some good eats. The flowers for each mother on Mother's day was a special little treat.
My husband and I arrived for dinner and was told we could sit anywhere so we decided to sit outside with other customers. The table beside was empty but noticed two people waiting tables and taking orders. We continued to wait patiently and my husband decided to grab our menus till they got around to us. We looked over the menu but still no service. Now we've been here probably about 20 minutes or more. By this time another couple had walked in and sat at the empty table beside us. Not even having time for them to sit the waitress was taking their drink orders. We felt totally ignored and almost disrespected. We finally just got up and left.
Burgers and fries are good. We enjoy pulling up on the boat.
