I usually love red lobster, but tonight the service was just bad. Jessica Simpson was so inefficient. Took forever to get our drinks, then forever to get our check. Was so bad we were making jokes about wondering if she had to cut trees down to make the check, or wondering if she had died, or quit. Food was good, but cost is getting out of hand. I originally gave 5 stars, but have to take one after tonight.
Food was excellent... stood there for several minutes bartender never even turned around to acknowledge me... just pretended to count the change in the drawer by touching one coin at a time in the drawer... girl finally came out of the kitchen to ask me what my name was and check on the other customer waiting... bartender knew I was there because the girl leaving for the night mentioned that I was another pickup and she had already punched out...
Good came quickly & waitress was great!
DISAPPOINTED …. We were visiting Erie, it was snowing and the roads were bad, then saw the familiar Red Lobster and were seated immediately…. Great so far! Three times the waitress said they were putting more cheese baskets in the oven, then it was asking for sweetener for our drinks twice, then it was bringing my salad with ranch dressing (it was supposed to be balsamic on the side), and we had to get her attention after our drinks were empty halfway through our meal. Did I mention, there were less than five other tables with people and two waitresses.
Ordered over 60 dollars worth of food to be picked up at 5 o'clock. Received notification of order ready at 445. Called from curbside pickup spot at 455. Sat for 15 minutes, called again. Sat another 10. Food was stone cold. Terrible. Experience.
The food is always fresh, delicious and a good portion size. I have always found the servers to be friendly, helpful and attentive. There is usually a good selection from the menu but right now they have a limited menu due to Covid but still enough to choose from. Just a word of caution, if you are planning on going for dinner be prepared to wait for a long time to be seated. Sometimes as long as 40 minutes because the place is that good! This generally happens during the summer months.
We love Red Lobster! First time we've been to the Erie restaurant in a long time. Our waitress was wonderful and patient and attentive. We love the food, but as with everywhere, prices have gone up while sizes have gone down. We don't fault the restaurant for that. Love RL and will continue to come!
Food was delicious but they told us a 15 minute wait that turned in to an hour with people who came in after us getting in before us, girlfriend was furious and we had asked them 15 minutes earlier. Our waitress was wonderful.
Delicious food and profetional attention
I had a very bad experience at this location. Our waitress was delivering our food to the table, a few seconds after the food was delivered, my lungs started burning, I couldn't breath and I jumped up from the table and starting couching. I had no idea what was going on, until I looked over and the hostess was cleaning the other table off and sprayed the cleaning spray directly at us and that is why I was having that reaction. I told our waitress what had happened and she sent the manager over, mind you I am still hacking to death. He apologizes, said she was a new employee asked if I wanted to see the label if what she sprayed me with... and that was it. Ask if we ate our food. The answer would be no. I spent $110 for that. Eat at your own risk.
