Great food! Pizza and subs are by far the best in the area!! Also helps that there is a great brewery next door that has amazing beers!
I was a little disappointed this time. When I got home and open the box, the pizza looked like it had been sitting out for a while and it looked dried out. The 1st time it was nice and hot and awesome, but not this time, unfortunately.
I've been a John's customer since the very beginning. The food & service at the Erie location are every bit as good as Edinboro. For dine in, the procedure isn't obvious for a first-timer: seating is inside Erie Brewing Co, where you'll order food (just food) at the window, and pick up when the buzzer goes off. Meanwhile an EBC server will take your order for your beverages.
Great small business that I heavily recommend. The food is always at a great quality and the prices are affordable. Their hours are late so it's great for college students who eat a bit later. They also deliver to specific dorm buildings which makes it super convenient to call in and make an order from your dorm room. Just make sure you give them a good tip, the delivery person deserves it. The menu has a wide variety so there is a good chance to find something you'd like.
Great pizza and salad. Next door to a brewery as well!
They have a great selection of sauces and toppings. Priced reasonably. I have always enjoyed the pizza from here. I have only been to the location inside Erie Brewing, if there are others. I'm not from Erie - usually visit here on the way between Rochester NY and Indianapolis.
Very disappointed.Ordered two club hoagies, extra lettuce. Who cooks lettuce?Wasn't asked if we wanted them cooked, plus they never called our number, had to go to the window to ask, despite a 20% tip.Only ones there. They weren't even wrapped properly. $24 for two subs and they can't call use to the window using device and can't be wrapped?Giving you a two Star because pizza is decent.
Loved the Boro one since college 85’ to 89’. Still do and anytime passing by will grab some. Erie brewing in same building a bonus too
Probably the best pizza you can get in erie
Been a faithful patron of John's for over 35 years. Still the ONLY real pizza in western PA!
