Love the homemade donuts here, especially the cream filled. But it gets crowded early on the weekends. Any time after nine and the selection goes down rapidly and you may be waiting outside. I am not saying it isn't worth it, just be prepared. Get your workout at Presque Isle done early in morning and then grab a dozen of guilt free donuts as a reward. Extending that smug satisfaction to your late rising friends and family as you all enjoy the donuts is up to you.
Going to HK has been a family camping tradition since I was 13 and now we take my kids there when we go camping! Always a treat to get donuts and hot chocolate once while we are visiting my mom. The service is excellent and you need to get there before 9am to get the best donuts.
