This is the most authentic "Mexican" food, I've had since I was last in Mexico! The smell of fresh tortillas, Enrique, his incredibly friendly staff their attentive service and the handmade cups and plates, all make it feel like you're dining in their home as an honored guest.I ordered the 2 taco platter and there was enough to make 4 tacos. The rice and beans were soft, fluffy and not salty. The shrimp was lightly seasoned, veggies cooked perfectly. The pastor was full of flavor and very tender. The salsa Verde makes for a great taco sauce, also!Erie is fortunate to have Enrique's, I'll be making the drive from Ohio and trying everything on the menu.
Found this place on Google maps and stopped in because of the high ratings. They should be even higher! My husband and I both had the Taco a la Mexican with Steak fajita as the protein. We both agree these were the best we have ever had- in Mexico included. Order steak fajita meat! If I could give 10 stars, I would! And the staff there are very nice and welcoming. Put my hand in pic for size reference. Go ahead and get 2 or 5! Lol you won't be disappointed!
Delicious! The tortillas (they make their own) we’re flavorful and didn’t break. The red salsa and pickles de gallo were delicious. Rice and beans had good flavor and paired well with the tacos. Will definitely be going back.
Two vegetarians found plenty to eat! Breakfast is served all day, the tortillas are delicious (we even bought some to take home!) and the salsas and sauces added lots of flavor to the tacos we got. The staff was super friendly and took good care of us.
Me and my daughter pass this restaurant everyday and decided to give it a try...OMG the food was absolutely delicious and when I tell you the staff were amazing. They checked on us to make sure we were comfortable and if we needed anything and then the owner came out to talk to us and he was just awesome. That's the kind of things that will have you coming back
We both got the 2 taco plate meals. More food than we could finish. My ½ pork and ½ chicken and my husband's steak fajita were both tasty and well seasoned without being overly spicy. Salsa and chips made on site to start the meal. The tortillas were excellent. We ordered 4 extra to have enough to finish all the meat.
This is AUTHENTIC Mexican food! Delicious with a perfect blend of spice and heat if you choose. I haven't had Mexican food this good since I was in Mexico. Its unheard of here in Erie. Now it's rare and special. The scents when you walk in is heavenly. The owner and staff welcome you like you walked into their home! It was Devine! The service and food is well above anything you will find in Erie. Good food, hard working and friendly people. If you want a little bit of Mexico you must come here. You will not be disappointed!

The shrimp tacos are so good! Keep in mind that if you order tacos (not taco a la Americana) there's no cheese. This is authentic stuff, so delicious! The smell of the corn tortillas... So good.
The best Mexican food we have had in the US. The real deal. Corn tortillas are made on site, try the tacos—served with a variety of different salsas. We bought 6 lbs of the fresh house made corn tortillas to have a bit of Enrique in our kitchen until we can get back for more (we live 4 hrs away and sought them out passing by on Rt 90). Wonderful owners passionate about something they believe in, excellent authentic food. So good. Also very much appreciated no frills, fresh space. You don’t need to wrap your space in Tex Mex decor when your kitchen delivers such authenticity.
