The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was soooo good. Came out piping hot, great portions, and the flavours were unbeatable. This is one of my favourite Mexican places in town and I'll definitely be going back again and again.
Went to El Canelo's on a Thursday night, so it wasn't very busy. The restaurant itself was in terrible condition- More than 3/4 of the lights were turned off or not working, while half of the ceiling tiles were either missing or water stained. The tables themselves seemed dirty. The food was okay, but service was slow (there were 5 tables at most) making me wonder how they could handle a busy Friday night. Checking out, I noticed there was no one out front who appeared to be of age to pour alcohol, which was concerning to say the least. Sorry to say I won't be returning anytime soon.
The bathroom lock didn't work. The seat cushion tilted forward and you felt like you were going to slide forward. I asked the young man if all the seats were like that and he said yes. The food was so so. I would never recommend this place.
I order a chili relleno as a part of my meal. The chili was rotting. When asked if it was fresh it was just fried yesterday as they fry them three times a week.

First time in this restaurant, but have eaten at the other two several times. The food is great, the portions are large and the customer service is excellent! Had a really nice lunch here.
The food is excellent and servers are so friendly and nice! We love coming here, and always enjoy our dinners. The portions are large (the combination dinners) and we usually take some home to eat for lunch the next day. The toastaquac is excellent, and chile relleno!
Food pricing in the food is no good there’s no flavor and none of the food
They claim this is a super quesadilla charge u 13.00$ for this. No flavor at all, almost no meat in it at all. We also got the nachos with beef and the beef was cold and tasted like water. The chips were so soggy they were hard to eat/ swallow. I will never go back ever this was by far the worst experience ever!
