Not going to returnPricy and kinda dirty. $15 sandwiches. & $8 kids menu.The bottle if oil was sticky - like it has not been washed ever. The salt shaker had food dried to it's side.Food was OK, but nothing worth a premium price.If they let stuff the customers handle get so filthy, how bad must the hidden parts of the restaurant be?
Looked forward to my favorite meal after a long hard week at work. Ordered prime rib blackened for takeout. I asked Kayla to make sure the prime rib was blackened. Get home and damn it is not blackened. What a let down. I don't know what it is about restaurants in Erie but that just aren't capable of getting takeout orders correct. This is the second time this happened here. I gave the Pittsburgh Inn 3 chances as well for the same thing. Three strikes and they are out. Never went back. This is the second strike against the Colony but I'm not sure I'm going to be back.
We just got off the road. Stopped at the Colony for dinner. Absolutely outstanding as usual. The Scallops and beef tips were prepared to perfection. Our server Kayla was knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. Couldn't have asked for a better experience
Delicious food with a cozy, comfortable atmosphere. Excellent service and live acoustic music while dining was a great touch.
Second time ordering steak that was over cooked. If I’m paying over $20 for a steak I would hope it was cooked to my liking. Also, prices on the online menu haven’t been updated. I really enjoyed The Colony in the past, but too many mistakes when ordering take-out.
To start the night off our first and second table we sat at wobbled. The waitress was amazing kind and very quick to get her job done. She gets 5 starts. Me and my wife both ordered steak and you could tell it was filled with water and had no flavor. What a waste of mo eye on the food. Stay away. 2/12/22
Replace or repair the wobbly and broken tables. I bought a nice steak and it tasted like it was pumped full of water. No flavor what so ever. When you pay $25 for a steak you expect flavor.

Kevin greeted us and we chatted before and after lunch. The Holiday decorations on the burning fireplace added to the ambience. The servers were helpful and the food was hot and tasty. Good lunch!
